I know you've probably seen it by now, but a defensive Espeon/Xatu with Magic Bounce is a great way to counter hazards, and get them set up on the other team

Hey :) Yeah, I'm currently breeding for a Timid Espeon (though I think I have a bold Eevee somewhere). I'm a huge fan of Johto so I'll definitely have both at some point too. Both bring slightly different things to the table y'know. Xatu has a better offensive movepool against some common counters like Ferrothorn, Forretress etc. but Espeon has great stats and support movepool

Magcargo - Awesome! Mild-natured, use him to hatch all of my eggs. I love him.

Crobat - Caught in Platinum (I think) in Oreburgh gate (I think). Hasty-natured. Named Geoff.

Pretty much another free day of doing nothing in a suit

I got an email from my boss saying he wants to talk to me about something but he hasn’t showed and he hasn’t replied to my email response

My task can’t continue until tomorrow now because my coworker is busy again and I can’t meet with him to discuss it

So my mind is struggling to come up with things to rape the speedy free internet with

All my social feeds have dried up and I can’t be arsed to do anything other than come up with shitty pokémon teams (that are just NU-tier enough to make I don’t have to rebreed them for the new metagame in X&Y) to win the BW2 medals for beating the pokémon league with a specific type of pokémon

Oh an I suppose it couldn’t hurt to catch em all and see if I can´t get the Shiny Charm and then go shiny hunting for a bit (on 550-odd pokémon seen now)

Coming out of hiatus for a bit to talk about being sorry for being on hiatus

AND TO DISCUSS POKEYMEN

I think the competitive metagame is gonna be much more open this time round. Here are my early predictions:

The biggest change is the reigning in of weather - I mean it hasn't really be reigned in that much but I dream of being able to stall these teams to the point where Stealth Rock will discourage constant re-introduction of Politoed and Tyranitar et al.

FUCK OFF BRELOOM - Basically if we yell at you, you can't hide behind your SubPunching anymore. And you can kiss Low Sweep goodbye from your Technician sets too

Everyones bulk rises slightly - A bunch of ultra common moves like BoltBeams and Flamethrower/Fire Blast etc AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HIDDEN POWER have all been cut slightly. So there's a few more pokémon surviving a OHKO

Poison kills the dragonslayers - Not like dragon has THAT much of an influence anyway considering Fighting pokémon still breathe but suddenly fairies will turn up and with fairies come gloopy ooze and accurate toxic and Speed Boost Scolipede (which will no doubt be promoted to UBERS). Hopefully this means I have a use for Mawile though
