Sharpies! Used Zoya - Purity as a white base, and then blue and purple sharpies to do the galaxy effect. Topped with INM Northern Lights, a very scattered holo topcoat i found on eBay. I love using sharpies, probably my favourite kind of nail art!
Glam Polish - Sagittarius, Hypnotic Polish exclusive. Tried some reverse stamping, up close it looks kind of messy, but pretty cool from far away heh. Used a random plate from Bornprettystore. Polishes used are A England - Lancelot and Excalibur.
Two coats of Cirque - Royal Hawaiian, topped with INM Out the door. This polish is a good candidate for my favourite colour this year. It's absolutely stunning! Glides on like butter. Bought from Harlow & Co. Tried the top coat for the first time and I'm really impressed! It was like $3 on eBay and I will surely buy more bottles. I use a lot of hand desinfectant at work and my polish usually only lasts one or two days due to super-dry nails. But this manicure has looked perfect for like four days. Today it started cracking slightly and I can see a tiny bit of tipwear, but other than that it still looks great!
Completely untouched pictures, I simply didn’t have the time. Two coats of Cirque - Powwow, looking all wonderful in the sunlight. All the Cirque holos I’ve tried have an amazing holo-effect, and glides smoothly on your nails like butter.
Cirque - Concord, stamped with A England - Lancelot. Love this mani! Concord is an AMAZING rich purple color. Two coats.
Not the best picture, but hey. Cirque - Cerrillos. I am totally in love with the Cirque holos right now, can’t seem to get enough of them! I think this was two coats.
Beautiful color and all, but this is why I bloody hate metallics. You can’t have a cat if you love metallics. Every single one of their hairs will, no doubt, be drawn to your newly polished nails and metallics will not be forgiving. Anyway. This is Dance Legend - Roz, from the Chameleon collection. Two coats of Roz over black. Really nice shift between green, gold, purple and some sort of bronze. Kind of a smoother version of Orly - Space Cadet. The black underwear is A England - Lancelot by the way. Awesome one-coater that dries really fast. It’s not a true black though, it has a very slight purple/red shift. Not visible once opaque though.
Beautiful, beautiful Cirque - Sky Woman! I absolutely adore this polish, and it paired perfectly with the silver holo Color Club. Stamped four fingers using some Born pretty store plate, and made the ring finger using vinyls from nailvinyls.com.
Mentality - Bolt, Electrify and Frenzy in a gradient. I'm using my iPhone for pictures, as always, and it's not always great at picking up colours... Oh well, I'm really pleased with this one anyway, I love the colours! Topped with Sally Hansen RapiDry as usual.
Mentality - Frenzy, three coats. A tiny hint of holo, and an amazing colour. Will do a gradient of this tomorrow.
Mentality nail polish - Bolt. From the Neon Holos collection. The holo is pretty much non-existing in the whole collection, but the polishes are amazing anyway! This is three thin coats topped with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri.
A recent picture of my collection. Except it’s not all of it, I’ve got a few on a shelf in another room, a sort of honorary shelf for extra beautiful bottles and such, where for example my other Nfu Oh’s live. And later that same day a package arrived with several new polishes... so, not so very up to date perhaps. I’m closing in on 300+ now, I counted them the other day but I’ve already forgotten. I’m keeping them in a cabinet with glass doors, and I love how easily accessed they are in this kind of storage.
Got some nail mail the other day, from the always lovely edgy polish. Smitten - Figgy Pudding, from their 2014 christmas collection. Darling Diva - The Witching Hour And five of the Mentality Neon holos, Electrify, Bolt, Scandal, Frenzy and Shake. They’re pretty amazing, will post some sunny pictures later.
Bought a lot of Barry M polishes in London. This is In A Heartbeat and Starlet as an accent nail. Used Sally Hansen RapiDry topcoat, which I’m totally amazed by.
The Sharpies again. Rainbows this time! Using Zoya Purity as underwear, and Sally Hansen RapiDry top coat.
Bought some Sharpies. Tried the green ones, loved it!
Sometimes I feel like I have too many. Then I open up the cabinet and see this shimmer and sparkling. And I think to myself, just a few more.
