I am not good at keeping this blog updated... or my instagram feed... Sorry!

And I’m super extra sorry because I finished Disney Princess Leia and never documented it... Thought to be honest nothing that special happened.

I made a very square top, glued that to the boned bodice that wasn’t hacked off, and made the worst sleeves imaginable. I’m kind of wondering if I have time to try again before Denver Comic Con, but I am pretty sure I won’t since I’m working on 2 other projects. The next cosplay I make will go on my youtube channel (well fingers crossed I remember to film a tutorial, and it’s worth posting) and once I really get going with youtube this blog will probably disappear, because let’s face it there is no way I could post on here less, and everything will be transferred over to my youtube channel and the matching instagram I made for that. If you are dying to see me make Disney Princess Leia, then I can do a talk-through video along with the make-up tutorial I plan on making for being a Disney Princess.

So I’m going to be Rey at Denver Star Fest 2017, and I was wondering if any other Reylo shippers would be there too! I freaking love this ship so much and I would love love love to take some ship pictures if anyone is going to be Kylo Ren/Ben there. I’m still trying to decide all my cosplay plans for the con so it would be really helpful if you are going to be Kylo/Ben you message me so maybe we can try to plan out a time to take pictures!

Cosplay Update!

I haven’t been able to do much in terms of working on my cosplay for Disney Princess Leia.

For the dress itself, not much has changed. I took off the fabric from the bodice and the fabric belt that was around it. I love the bodice and want to keep the boning in it, my only issues with the dress is it doesn’t zip up all the way, so I’m deciding how I want to fix that. I think I want to make the back lace up, but I’m not totally sure because I also want to have a huge hood. I’m also not sure if I want to do off the shoulder or if I want to make it a turtle neck. 

I haven’t made as much progress as I would like but I have been in a depressive cycle which makes cosplay fall to the bottom of my priority list. As much as I love cosplay it isn’t on my list of priorities at the moment. Since nothing got done except for some deconstruction I didn’t bother to take pictures. I’m hopefully going to make some progress on the top this week. But it really depends on school, work, and my mental state!

Super excited to say that I found the perfect dress to start Disney Princess Leia! And the cost was 15 US dollars. Yeah. The skirt is huge and so perfect for a Disney princess. The bodice is a little bit too small, but that's okay since I planned on changing it anyway. I'll keep posting pictures as I work on it!

So not a cosplay update really but I made an instagram for my cosplays! It’s pr3tty8oycosplay because obviously. I’m also considering making a YouTube channel for cosplay stuff, like tutorials and challenges and tags and con vlogs! But I’m not totally sure yet if that’s happening or not. I’ll keep you posted friends!
