On Eteri, Brian, and Evgenia

What Brian Orser said about Evgenia refusing to bad-talk her former Coach makes me believe Eteri even less about her comment on Evgenia after the Olys. That combined with Zhenya’s classy af speech at the press conference yesterday really just solidifies that Eteri needs to check herself. No matter how you slice it, the fact that an 18 year old girl handled the situation with more grace and maturity than a 44 year old woman is really telling of both of their characters.

Brian said that, when he asked her why she is leaving her coach, all she said is that she wanted a change and “did not want to speak badly of her current situation” (he also added that this response instantly made him respect Evgenia even more).

Honestly, what a mature girl. It makes what Eteri said sound even more ridiculous, whiny, and desperate, or maybe if something like that was said, that Eteri was blowing it way out of proportion.
