Hanna teased the other woman by making an expression that made her appear to be deep in thought. “That depends... What are we watching and can I dress up?” She then broke her act with a smile. “I’m kidding, I’ll go! But seriously can I dress up or no?”
a warm, fresh strawberry sponge cake sat on a glass platter in winifred’s hands. she wasn’t very good with big social events. no matter the amount of parties the arden family socialites had been invited to, winnie had never quite gotten a grip on parties. the one thing giving the young redhead any confidence was the cake in her hands; if there was anything she could do, it was bake. “do you think it’ll be okay?” she asked, wetting her lips a little nervously. “it’ll be fine. right?”
As much as her agency hated it, Hanna loved sweets, and it was one of the main reasons she was drawn to the girl with a strawberry cake in her hands. “It looks delicious to me, but I think I could only tell for certain if you were to give me a bite?” She played. A large part of Hanna’s life were parties, it was one of the ways she networked for her job, but she always preferred the more relaxed setting, like this. She actually sort of felt at home here.
his step sisters statement ripped a genuine laugh out of him, a shake of his head following. he often felt jealous of her, that she built a life around something else other than her fathers company — but those feelings were gone the moment they came, the man being well aware of the money he was making and the skill for business that he had. it all worked out in the end. ‘ saturday is when most idiots group together to get work done, and neither of them know how to actually do what they’re supposed to. it’s a mess. ’
It wasn’t that she wanted to throw all the responsibility on her step brother, she just knew she couldn’t live the kind of life he was living. Not that it was bad, because she respected it highly, she just wasn’t responsible enough. She didn’t think she ever would be. His words reminded her of one of the last photo shoots she’d done. Some of the assistants has no idea what was going on, causing her to be there twice as long as she needed to be. “They probably don’t want to be at work on the weekend.” She shrugged. “But at least they have a schedule, That’s the only thing I don’t like about my job. There’s never certainty of a paycheck.”
( °. MAELLE WAS IN a rush this morning. she was supposed to arrive at her job in thirty minutes, and even though it wasn’t that far away, the red head had no time to lose. she stopped by the local coffee shop, just like she always does, for a much needed cup of hot coffee to get her day started properly. mae was used to the place being crowded – it usually wasn’t a problem because the service was good and fast. but today, something seemed to be lacking and now, the girl had placed her order about ten minutes ago and she was still waiting for her drink. and all that while the time she couldn’t lose was ticking away. “ can you fucking believe this ? “, she asked, more to herself than to anyone in particular, her voice nothing but a mere mumble. the young woman was about to take off when suddenly, someone called out what seemed to be her order. “ oh, yes, that should be me. “, maelle replied, raising her hand to get the girl’s attention.
It didn’t take long for someone to speak up. She looked around and saw a pretty red headed girl raise her hand to claim the drink. She smiled and tucked her book under her arm to go take it to her. Typically, this place didn’t make mistakes, so she wondered if they were training some new people or something. “Here you are, this is rightfully yours.” Hanna said, setting it on the table in front of her. “They probably got us mixed up because of the hair.”
Hanna sat waiting in the small booth in the back of the coffee shop waiting for her flavored tea. It had only been five minutes since she’d ordered it, and this place was usually quite speedy, so she expected to get her drink shortly. It wasn’t as if she had no time to waste though, this was her day off, and she was going to treat herself. She had her book with her and sat in a way so that the sun would cast down on the text perfectly. Out of the corner of her eye she saw one of the workers coming towards her with a cup so she smiled and accepted it gratefully, until she saw what the drink actually was. “Oh, sorry, this isn’t mine.” She began to tell the woman, but, she walked away. Now left with a drink that she didn’t order, Hanna looked around a bit defeated. “Uh, if someone in here ordered a coffee without cream but two teaspoons of sweetener; I have it.” She said loud enough for the rest of the customers to hear, smiling faintly.
‘ that’s CUTE — you think i care. now get it done. ’ RICHARD demands in a stern tone, barking into the receiver of his phone in a hushed voice. even on a saturday, the man refuses to stop working, fingers tapping against the phone even after the call has ended. it makes him a moment, then two — before his eyes raise from his mobile, to realize that he wasn’t alone. ‘ sorry about this — you were saying ?? ’
“And that is precisely why I said that job was a hard pass.” Hanna teased, remembering how her dad always tried to groom her to take over someday. She saw how much he worked, and how he was on call all the time. She wanted time to herself, where she didn’t have to worry if she shut her phone off. From what she remembered, most of the calls were bogus anyway. “What was their problem this time? Didn’t know how to work the copier?”
Hey, it’s Sarah once again, this time bringing some information on my other bby Hanna!!
23 years old
pansexual
step sister to Richard St Clair.
was supposed to take over the family company at all because business work seems boring
when her parents died she fled to Iceland.
While in Iceland, she was discovered by a modeling agency and she began working and traveling to do photo shoots.
After the death of her parents and removing herself from the rest of her family and friends she began to get really lonely, even surrounded by her coworkers, so she came back to reconnect with her step brother. She felt guilty about dropping the company on him like that though and feared his reaction.
She’s always wanted to be in a relationship, because people in love seemed so happy, but with her demanding job she didn’t have time to date, especially since she was being yanked all over the globe. Besides, whenever she did date, she never picked people that were good for her. So, when she heard about what Richard was doing, she figured getting arranged might be the best way.
She makes everything a joke, and refuses to be serious because being serious makes her uncomfortable. Hanna likes sarcastic humor, but appreciates other kinds as well. She also isn’t opposed to using people as a punchline in order to get a laugh.
She likes to take care of people and sees herself as the protector.
She’s a tough girl who likes to work and get dirty. She considers herself very much a tomboy, and finds it ironic that modeling is her career.
She does care about people, but she can also be very selfish. It’s not that she wants to hurt anyone, she’s just naturally the kind of person who puts herself first and has a lot of pride so she has a hard time apologizing.
