After being found guilty of an assault he didn’t commit, Kazuo was put on probation as punishment, being sent off to live with his grandfather in Inaba a quiet country town filled to the brim with mysterious happenings.  Transferring into the second year at Yasogami High School, he already seems to have a reputation among the students as a delinquent, despite his reserved appearance.

Verse Details:

First thing’s first, Kazuo is not a Wildcard in this verse

Kazuo first appears after Rise’s dungeon as a new transfer student to Yasogami High School

He’s kidnapped by Namatame after news of his probation aired on a minor national news segment

His dungeon is basically a large prison, barred cells lining the walls with shadows taking the appearance of murders, arsonists and so on.

Kazuo’s shadow remarks on the fact that he wants to rebel against the system that put him in his situation, but he’s too much of a coward to do anything about it.

His shadow’s boss form is that of a faceless humanoid draped in black and white striped rags, flinging ball and chains around to attack.  It makes use of Mudo Skills and Physical attacks.

Kazuo awakens to Arsene after his shadow is defeated and joins the investigation team

His social link is represented as the Star Arcana, and revolves around finding a witness to the assault that he was framed for.

None of it clashed together and finding these thieves wasn’t primary than the other incidents surrounding this city. Lilac irises stare intently with arms folded across her chest, not bothering to move away even if he requested it. Maybe someone like him could proclaim little information if there’s some ‘  mutual award  ’. Thinking like a thief would benefit others and themselves in cruel terms, at least the stoic detective saw it in that aspect.     ❛     It’d be pointless to repeat the same questions to someone who clearly has ‘  nothing to hide  ’ from the law enforcement. No, there’s another reason why I came here.     ❜

“another detective ?”  truthfully he’d grown weary of anyone claiming the title, it seemed to be a trend for someone to call them a detective and proceed to waste his time with their questioning.  by nature of his seemingly omnipresent criminal record, he’d been a prime person of interest in the case of suguru kamoshida, the first target of the phantom thieves.  he stood upright, arms crossed across from the lilac haired woman, and as much as he’d like to shoo her away, his facade required of him a tolerance for those who could unravel his illicit activities.  “i’ve already been questioned by three of you guys, that akechi guy from tv too.  i doubt i could tell you anything they didn’t already know.” @tantkill - liked for a starter

Consider the fact that Third Eye is an ability that Kazuo doesn’t lose with the destruction of mementos.  He still has it, it’s intrinsically intertwined with his being and doesn’t require the presence of a cognitive world to be used, unlike his persona.  We can see through the gameplay of P5 that the Third Eye’s array of applications scales with his knowledge on a subject (e.g. reading a book on baseball allows him to slow down his perception of time to hit the ball easier, or studying fishing techniques allows him to identify different species of marine life from a distance without any scrutiny.)  It’s really an amazing power that I don’t see a lot of people talking about. just thinking about how much it will allow him to succeed in any field he chooses to focus on is interesting to me.
