Finished my first knife build today. It's a bit heavy and I still need to sharpen it. It start as a chunk of 1/4 inch 1048 flat bar carbon steel. Shaped it, fire treated it, baked it and carved the scales out of zebra wood. It was a lot of fun to sculpt this thing and I feel like there is a part of me left in it. I look forward to learning and making more. (at Rundle Park)
