My new weapon of choice for distraction free #writing. It took hours to set up, which is par for the course when mucking about with #linux, but I modified this old #netbook #laptop to boot up straight into a very simple #texteditor. It saves what you do into a #dropbox #folder so you can edit and refine later, but basically all it does is allow you to #type stuff. No #Facebook! No beeps and dings! Not even any #wordprocessing functions. Reminds me of #8bit days. Really nifty little #project. I might finally write #thenovelthatburnsinmysoul now. #simplicity #zen #typewriter

Finished #reading this #horror #classic a couple of days ago. The #film has long been a favourite of mine but the #book is so much better! The film probably only covers about 30% of what's in here. Jack's descent into #madness is described so well, along with his #backstory. It all ends a bit differently too.
