Wei WuXian loves horse riding and participates in equestrian competitions since childhood. His adopted parents own the horse club "Yunmeng Jiang". Wei Ying's first horse Suibian was a present from his adopted father Jiang Fengmian. In horse racing Wei WuXian always takes the first place, but in jumping and dressage usually gives way to his brother Jiang Cheng or to Lan Zhan.

During one of the competitions Suibian was injured and could no longer participate. After that competition Wei Ying was accused of using doping. The real scandal began and Wei WuXian had to leave equestrian sports for several years. But he was able to return thanks to Lan WangJi who was denying all the rumors.

He returned with a new black horse - Chenqing.
