Rohirrim is a Sindarin name meaning "the host of the Horse-lords", consisting of the element roch + hîr ("lord, master") + rĩm ("host").
"He died, and his son, Thranduil, succeeded to the throne, returning with the remnants of the elves to Greenwood after the war."
Thranduil is wearing the same clothes as Legolas, let's just say these are the robes of a prince
“Who is He?”
First meeting of the members of Ost In Edhil and their leader Celebrimbor with a mysterious figure called Annatar
Sindarin Portraits pt3: Elmo, Galadhon, Nellas, and Nimloth.
Some more obscure-ish characters for my Sindarin portrait project! When I first designed Elmo, I decided to make him a mix between Thingol and Olwë, so his clothes are a blend of Sindar and Teleri fashion. This is also my first time drawing Nellas; since she lives out in the forest, I made her robes green (rather like Mablung and Beleg’s).

“At that time Beren and Lúthien yet dwelt in Tol Galen, the Green Isle, in the River Adurant, southernmost of the streams that falling from Ered Lindon flowed down to join with Gelion; and their son Dior Eluchíl had to wife Nimloth, kinswoman of Celeborn, prince of Doriath, who was wedded to the Lady Galadriel.”
-JRR Tolkien, The Silmarillion, “Of the Ruin of Doriath”
[ID: An edit comprised of six posters in alternating cool-tinted dark green and greenish-white. Thin white text at the top of each image reads “dior & nimloth” in all caps.
1: A brown-skinned person in a white shirt looking through leaves. There are dappled shadows on their face and only one of their eyes is visible / 2: A close-up of flowers with a metallic sheen / 3: Chunks of translucent white crystal / 4: A brown-skinned person with dark hair wearing a white dress and wading in green water seen from above. Their skirt floats out around them and one of their arms is extended to the side / 5: A person with brown skin wearing a white sundress and hanging by one arm off of a white column. They are turned away from the viewer and are looking out across a marshy landscape towards a bank of trees / 6: White butterflies and moths of varying sizes, some with dark markings on their wings /End ID]

Just ... finrod.
Since Ainur create things via singing the first chapters of the Silmarillion are a literal Disney movie
"I want to be a healer, and love all things that grow and are not barren."
“Hello naughty Doriathrim, it’s murder time!”

Hello kinslayer, time for a regret session.
Thingol, Melian and Luthien>
A Tolkien joke
Despite her large size, Ungoliant mostly ate light meals.
Carcharoth also had a light meal once, and it gave him the worst heartburn — though Beren had a hand in that.
