OUTFITS OF THE WEEK - June 13 to 16

Hey, hey everyone! It’s my third week of school and our university’s Mission & Vision week! ANIMO! ♥ If you’re wondering, guys, I dyed my hair already! It’s hard to let my Ombre Hair go, but sometimes, we have to move on…. #hugot jkhahaha. So for this week, I tried mixing-and-matching different clothes that I have in my closet. For my Monday outfit, I wore this cute Floral Buttondown Blouse from Divisoria & Pink Polkadots Skirt from Forever 21. For my bag, it’s still my Black Tote Bag from Versace and for my shoes, I wore a Gray & Black Flats from Payless. (Sorry for my awkward hand and background. Hahaha, I was really in a hurry because we were about to ride our school shuttle)

June 14, 2016 - Tuesday

It’s my baby sister’s 5th birthday!!! Though, I didn’t celebrated it with my family because I have whole day classes. Anyway, for my Tuesday OOTD, I wore this comfortable H&M Striped Pullover that I bought from a local Thrift Shop & Light Gray Leggings from Forever 21. For my shoes, I wore some Pink Free Runs from Nike. I’m also wearing a Lace Choker from a friend of mine who sells these adorbs accessories! ♥

I absolutely love my Wednesday outfit! I wore this Lace Cami and Floral Kimono from Divisoria & Highwaisted Pants from a local Thrift Shop. By the way loves, I bought my pants for 100 pesos only! It’s so cheap yet so nice, agh! If only I could shop everyday… ☹

June 16, 2016 - Thursday

SCHOOL PRIDE THURSDAY! Since it’s De La Salle University’s Mission & Vision Week, I decided to buy a DLSU-UVM Merch/T-shirt. Me and my bestfriend (Aira Franchesca Junio) bought this shirt so that we’ll have a matchy shirt. For my Thursday outfit, I wore my DLSU Shirt from DLSU-STC (my school), Leggings from Divisoria and Denim Jacket from Forever 21. I wore my White Keds Inspired-Sneakers from Kicks for my shoes.

Outfits of the Week - June 6 to 8

Hi everyone! I’m sorry for posting my OOTW late because I had tons of school requirements that I needed to accomplish. It’s the second week of school yet I’m stressing out… lol. Anyway, for your info, I was transferred into another section because I changed my Academic Strand from STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) to HUMSS (Humanities and Social Sciences). I suddenly changed my strand because I really wanted to become a flight stewardess someday! ✈️ I want to get paid for doing what I love, which is travelling. Now, for my Outfits this week! To be honest guys, I already felt the struggle finding clothes that I’ll be wearing to school. June 6, 2016 - Monday

During mondays, our class schedule’s from 1pm to 5pm so it was kind of a chill day for me. For my monday class, June 6, I was so busy watching NBA Game 2: Cavs vs. GSW that I forgot to check the time. So yes, I left our house late. I didn’t even bother to put on my light makeup and comb my hair properly. (If you’re curious, I commute everyday to school) Luckily, I arrived at La Salle an hour early. Thank God, there was no traffic! ❤️ Anyway, enough for my “late” adventure… Since I was running late for school, I wore a simple outfit. I grabbed my Teal Knitted Pullover from Jewels, Black Cami/Sando from Forever 21, Black Skinny Jeans from Forever 21 and my Black Longchamp Inspired Bag from a local Thrift Shop. For my shoes, I wore my White Keds-Inspired Sneakers from Kicks (SM Dept. Store).

June 7, 2016 - Tuesday

To be honest, I got a lot of compliments for my Tuesday outfit. I chose a chill and basic outfit because my classes are from 8am to 5pm and want to be comfortable with what I am wearing. I wore this Black Ribbed Top from an Instagram Online Shop (forgot the name of the shop sorry ☹), Black and White Jogging Pants from my Mom’s closet and a Giordano Red Flannel from a local Thrift Shop. My shoes? Of course, I wore my favorite White Keds-inspired Sneakers from Kicks (SM Dept. Store).

June 8, 2016 - Wednesday

Fun fun, wednesday! For my wednesday outfit, I wore this Navy Blue Dress from So & a Gray Cardigan from Divisoria. I wore a cardigan because my dress has a spaghetti-kind of strap which is absolutely not allowed for school. My Black Tote Bag is from Versace and for my shoes, I wore some Floral Flats from FootIn. (I would like to thank my bestfriend Cayla Gauna for braiding my hair!)

That’s basically my OOTW post for this week! If you’re wondering why I only posted 3 outfits (again) this week, it’s because I didn’t had a chance to take a pic of my Thursday outfit because I was too busy. Haha, but I promise to have a complete Monday to Thursday outfit post next week!

Hi everyone!

I opened my new Instagram online shop named “Closet Maine” today! ❤️ I would sell my preloved clothes for affordable & cheap price that ranges from 50 pesos - 250 pesos! I’ll *hopefully* have new collections every week and you could message me to suggest on what items/types of clothing I should sell next! I thought of starting my own online shop in order to save more money and have budget for my school clothes, even though some of the items that I’m going to sell are hard to let go. But, I’d love to have my preloved clothes from my closet to yours!

Outfits of the Week - June 1 & 2

Hey, hey, hey!

My classes began a lil’ bit early compared to other schools. Our senior high school classes started last June 1, 2016 at De La Salle University - Science and Technology Complex. In my previous posts, I’ve said that my school doesn’t require us to wear uniforms, instead, we wear civilian clothes. That’s why, I started a new blog-series which is “Outfit of the Week”! Every friday/saturday, I’ll be posting my weekly OOTD’s and you, guys, would decide the best outfit of the week. I might pick one lucky follower/respondent that I would feature in my blog or perhaps, win something from a giveaway I’ll post in the future! Sounds cool, right? So, please, reblog or leave a message after reading this week’s Outfit of the Week post! ❤️

{Note: In this Outfit of the Week post, I’ll be posting 2 outfits because my classes this week started Wednesday until Friday. June 1, 2016 - Wednesday

For my first day, June 1, I decided to go for a casual look. I wore my favorite Collar + Lace Gray Pullover that I got from my Back to School Thrift Shop Haul and paired it with my Black Skinny Jeans from Forever 21. I placed my Back to School essentials/stuffs in this adorable Nude Shoulder Bag that I received from my mom for my Sixteenth birthday. And for my footwear, I wore my White Keds-inspired Sneakers from Kicks (SM Department Store).

June 2, 2016 - Thursday

We were asked to wear any blouse or dress with a collar for our ID Picture Taking on the second day of school. Last wednesday (June 1), I wore a long-sleeve pullover. I got exhausted from it because we had a mini-orientation on a non-aircon covered court in my campus. So, for the next day, I decided to wear something that would help me beat the heat. I wore this cute Denim Dress from Jag with a white belt. It is a sleeveless dress but any sleeveless top isn’t allowed/dress code appropriate so, I wore a Navy Blue Shirt from Silviana. For my shoes, I wore my Denim Flats from Payless. And for my bag, it’s the same Nude Shoulder Bag from Day 1.

My first week of classes was exhausting but fun! It’s really a “college-level” preparation for us. I find it exhausting because I’m not used to the kind of setup we’re experiencing right now but, I know that everyone’s also adjusting. Even though everything’s new to me, I’m still looking forward to my following weeks in Senior High.

Charm Tip! Some people asked me if I was having a hard time in finding clothes that I have to wear everyday. Answer? Well, for my first week, it’s not that difficult. Before I sleep, I prepare the clothes that I’ll wear for the next day so that, I won’t stress about it in the morning.

BACK TO SCHOOL THRIFT SHOP HAUL 2016

As you know, I’m an incoming Senior High School student in De La Salle University - Science and Technology Complex. During our seminars and orientations about K-12, we were advised that we won’t be having uniforms for Senior High. At first, we were really happy & excited to get rid it.

After a few weeks of summer, we realized that having no uniforms suck. I mean, when you have a uniform that you have to wear to school, you don’t have to think of what you’re going to wear. It’s completely normal to wear it everyday because you’re all wearing the same thing.

I’m the type of person who doesn’t like repeating clothes. If I wear a specific top for this day, I’ll keep it at the back of my closet so that I won’t wear it for an entire month. Having no uniforms/wearing civilian clothes everyday is difficult for people, like me. Our school’s implementing a dress code so, a lot of clothes in my closet (specially skirts & dresses) aren’t allowed. So, before my classes starts on June 1 *cries*, I decided to have a trip to our local thrift shop to purchase one of a kind & dress code appropriate clothes for my school OOTDs!

1.) Giordano Red Checkered Flannel Shirt Price: 160.00 pesos

I’ve been looking for these kind of flannels for so long! And finally, I have it. It’s kinda long but I really love its fabric! It’s so soft, cozy & perf for the rainy season. I’ll wear it by tying it around my waist so incase that our classroom gets cold, I have something to keep me warm.

2.) White ¾ Sleeve Lace Top Price: 160.00 pesos

I love everything about this top! The lace, garter on the sleeves and bottom are soooo pretty! It’s similar to Topshop/Forever 21’s boho collection which costs around 500-1,500 pesos which is really expensive for a “kuripot” student like me. I’m considering myself lucky finding this top that’s almost similar to branded expensive clothes.

3.) Coral Garterized Top Price: 160.00 pesos

The flowy design of this top caught my attention when I was shopping. I thought this was an off shoulder top, which I believe isn’t allowed at school. Luckily, the store allowed me to try on everything that I got from the racks and it fits me perfectly. It’s garterized on its sleeves and bottom. I love it so much and I’m looking forward to wear it at school! (P.S. This is my grandparent’s favorite out of all the clothes that I got, they’re my #1 fashion critic, hehe)

4.) H&M Gray Pullover Price: 160.00 pesos

I literally screamed when I saw this pullover. It’s so unique and classy at the same time! I absolutely love the adorbs design on its sleeves. Plus, it’s branded! Yes guys, it’s from H&M for a price of 160 pesos! (Another P.S. lol: When I got this pullover out of the rack, a random girl told me that I was lucky to find it because she wanted it too, well….. paunahan lang yan, haha!)

5.) Gray Collared Lace Top Price: 160.00 pesos

This is a personal favorite!!!!! How could you not love this?! (I’m sorry, I just love this so much! Hahahaha) Casual with a touch of bohemian is definitely a great combination. It’s so cute specially, the collar + lace. I fell in love with it instantly because it shows pretty much of my personality. Perf with black skinny jeans/pants! Who knew I could wear something cute despite of the strict dress code?  ❤️

6.) White Button-down Sheer Long Sleeves Top Price: 160.00 pesos

I own a button-down lace sheer top which I got from Forever 21 but I hate how it fits my body, so, I got another one. I love the black and cream color combination of this sheer top. It has a cute lace-ish floral design in the shoulders which adds more girly-style to this simple top. The gold mini buttons are adorbs too!

This is the third lace top that I got, is it obvious that I adore lace tops? Hahaha. This is kinda similar with the second outfit on my Back to School haul. I couldn’t leave it in the store because it’s just so nice. It shows a part of my tumtum because it’s a crop top-type. For no dress code violation, I’ll wear a cami underneath and I’m good to go!

Honestly, when I arrived and asked for the price of a top (which is fixed 160 pesos each for everything) I find it expensive because usually, the clothes that I bought from thrift shops ranges from 35-85 pesos only. I was supposed to transfer to a cheaper thrift shop but then, I saw these super pretty lace tops which I couldn’t resist! My budget was originally 600 pesos and ended up spending 1,000 pesos! Luckily, I got a discount from the owner who was really kind. She even asked for my number so she could text me when they release new arrivals again! So cool right?

Even though my wallet is crying right now, I’m really happy and not regretting that I got these babies! Everything I got was cute, comfy & unique. I’m glad that I could be fashionable and wear these without violating the dress code. I’m so excited to wear them to school! ❤️

#OOTDftCharm: Kylie Jenner Inspired Look

For my birthday celebration, I went to the mall with my uncle. We watched Xmen Apocalypse (it was so freaking cool! watch it guys!) and some window-shopping… #teambroke

I decided to have a “No Makeup” makeup look for my mall-strolling because honestly, I hate wearing too much makeup. It feels so heavy on my face and it’s not comfortable. Last saturday, I got an early birthday present from my aunt which are Kissproof Lipsticks that I’ve been hunting for weeks! She got me the #05 Shade which I absolutely love! I’m def obsessed with it!

I suddenly felt soooooo Kylie Jenner after applying my light make up and realized that I should get my OOTD Inspiration from the queen herself, Kylie J!

I’ve seen Kylie wearing turtle neck-ish crop tops which are simple yet classy. Therefore, I decided to go for that look!

Yes, guys. You read that right. My mom owns this top! She was really fashionable during her teenage years and I’m really glad that her old clothes are still in good condition. She forgot where she got it though, but she told me that she might’ve bought this on a thrift shop a few years ago.

It was sunny when I was preparing for my look for our mall getaway so, I wore some high-waisted shorts which I DIY-ed a year ago..

These were pants and I transformed them into high waisted shorts because why not?  Pants were given to me by my mom but, I wasn’t really into wearing pants. They’re not comfortable therefore, I prefer shorts. #teamshorts for the win!

And, because I hate making my feet wet, I wore these J’s to wrap my outfit! I’m absolutely inlove with these pair! It’s a perfect partner for any casual shorts outfit. If you were wondering where I got these, my dad bought it in the UK. God bless for cool shoes, United Kingdom!

Even though I wore light-colored/pastel clothes often, I love this outfit & I would definitely wear this again! Sometimes, we have to get out of our comfort zone & try something new. It is never too late discovering things about yourself. Search for new fashion styles that’s closest to your personality and it’s up to you to just mix & match just like what I did. Kylie Jenner usually wears these crop tops as a dress/with skinny jeans, but I added my personal touch to her style and came up with this OOTD! ❤️

Sixteen, finally..

Yes, I’m turning sixteen today! It’s strange how time flies so fast. I remember having my personal blog when I was 10 years old. I absolutely have no idea how to blog “properly” that time because I was too young. Now that I’m sixteen, I finally had guts to start a fashion blog! I’m so excited to share everything I know about fashion & beauty with everyone. This is the best birthday present that I received from myself. I feel so proud and happy of what I’ve become. I know, there are a lot of mistakes that happened in my life which I absolutely regret. But, it made me a better person which I am now.  I would like to thank my parents, specially my mom, who had been my biggest fan and my number 1 supporter. My grandparents who took care of me when my parents weren’t around. My true friends who helped me face challenges I encounter everyday. And of course, my followers (and soon to be my tumblr family/followers), thank you for appreciating and supporting my blog.
