You’re up again, Tumblr. 

Back in 2015 you demanded that the FCC adopt strict net neutrality rules and establish a free and open internet. And you won. 

That should’ve been the end of it. But apparently not.

The new head of the FCC wants to undo the net neutrality protections you fought so hard for.

His proposed changes open the door to your web traffic being slowed down, or even blocked altogether. You could be forced to pay extra to use your favorite apps. You could even be prevented from getting news from the sources you trust.

Title II protects consumers and democracy by ensuring all voices can be heard.

You know the drill. Here’s what to do:

The FCC is taking comments from the public, and dearfcc.org is making it as simple as possible for you to make your voice heard.

You’ll just need to provide a name, an address, and then say a little bit about why rolling back Title II protections is a bad idea. If you’re not quite sure what to write, here’s something to get you started:

I’m writing to urge you to keep our Open Internet rules based on Title II in place. Without them, we could lose the internet as we know it.

The proposed changes to FCC rules would allow fast lanes for sites that pay, and force everyone else into slow lanes. We’ve already seen access to streaming services like Netflix, popular games like League of Legends, and communication platforms like FaceTime slowed down, or even blocked. Conditions like this hurt businesses large and small, and penalize the users who patronize them. 

The changes also open the door to unfair taxes on internet users, and could also make it harder for blogs, nonprofits, artists, and others who can’t pay up to have their voices heard.

Please leave the existing net neutrality rules based on Title II in place.

Disclamir most of these are from friends of friends the post where I talk about metting different Skam actors I will reblog in a moment.

So, my cousin’s friend worked at the revy eith Tarjei at Nissen and she was at Nissen at rehersal one afternoon. And she hears a lot of knocking outside one of the doors and hse is like “wtf??? everyone who is suppose to be here is here already”. The knocking doesn’t stuff so she goes down to open up the door. An a russian dude is standing there just saying “tarjei, tarjei” and ske asks him what he is doing there. And he tells her he is a gay Russian guy who has flown from Moscow to Oslo to meet Tarjei. According to her the kid was almost in tears with the idea of meeting Tarjei. So she goes back up and is all “ummm. Tarjei? A Russian dude wants to meet you?” and Tarjei went down with a friend and talked to the guy.

A friend of mine lives in Bærum and she was on a party with Thomas Hayes and he was really silent for most of the party. And by the end of the party he had gotten slightly more outgoing and he talked about being cast in a NRK series and my friend was like a NRK series okay now I know he is lame. ANd then she lost her shit when she watched Skam and relized that Thomas was in it.

My aunt who drank coffee at Frogner everyday and talked about this very charming guy who worked there and then relized it was Henrik Holm.

And then it is a rumor that the reason Thomas Hayes quit the show was because the royal family told the NRK to fire him. Thomas Hayes was on the same russbuss as the son of the crownprincess and the story goes that the police found weed in their buss, but the royal family didn’t want a scandal and kept it low. So to handle damage control they told NrK whay had happened and the NrK has a strict policy agaist their actors using illegal drugs so that was why he was fired, but to not make a big deal about him being fired their official story was that he was quitting.

                                     The beginning and the end, thank you and goodbye.

Dear Sana, this speech is to you. And you get this speech, because the fact that you’ve invited us here to today, topples over American presidents tomorrow. We live in a chaotic world where it’s hard to understand the rules. Because why are some poor and others rich? Why do some have to flee? While others are safe? And why are people being spat on at in streets. And why is sometimes, when you try to make something good, it’s still met with hate? It’s not strange that people give up. That we stop believing in the good. But thank you for not giving up Sana. Because even tho it sometimes may feel like it, No person stands alone. Each and every single one of us, is an important piece in the big chaos, and what you did today, will have an effect tomorrow. It can be hard to say exactly what kind of effect, and you usually can’t always see how it’s all connected, but the effects of your actions, will always remain somewhere in the chaos. In 100 years we might have machines that manages to calculate the effect of each and every action. But until then, we can trust this:

Fear spreads, but… Luckily, love does as well.

Do you ever think about how during mid S2, Isak had just ran away from home and was just so lost and scared and ended up living in the kollektiv’s basement. He was so scared of going back home, and I can’t imagine how he was feeling. Because he moved out from home when he wasn’t even 17. He was 16 years old. And then during the summer he officially moved in there and took Noora’s old room.

And in another place, same universe and same time, there was Even who just had his whole life turned upside down. With everything that happened in Bakka and feeling like he lost his friends, and just feeling so ashamed. He felt like everything and everyone turned against him. That he was destined to be alone. He just didn’t see the point of it anymore.

But can you believe that the universe told them to just wait? “I know that you’re feeling alone, but you just wait” “just hold on for a little bit longer” “there’s something good coming your way, trust me”

The universe told them to just wait, because a few months later they’d both find themselves at Nissen and their eyes would meet and they’d just know.

And it was like: “then my soul saw you and it kind of went ‘Oh, there you are. I’ve been looking for you.’”

Why there wouldn’t be Skam without Sana

Can we please talk for a moment about how Sana Bakkoush is the link in this show?

Let’s go back to season 1. Noora only joined the girl squad because of Sana, she didn’t want to be part of the bus thing but if Sana was joining, she was joining and that’s how the girl squad was born.

Then also in season 1, Sana was the reason why Eva and P-Chris started talking, she was the one that through Eva’s instragram account followed him and liked his pictures which led to Chris and Eva talking. And THIS led the girl squad to start hanging out with The Penetrators, which was the reason why Vilde and William started talking and then they hooked up.

Also in season 1, Sana was the one that saw P-Chris hooking up with Ingrid, which led Eva to talk to Ingrid and solve their friendship and this conversation led Eva to find out from Iben about Isak being the one who sent the tips about Eva and PChris hooking up, all because Sana saw P-Chris and Ingrid. 

Now let’s go to season 2, like I’ve already said, Sana is the reason why the Penetrators and the girl squad started hanging out in the first place which led to Vilde hooking up with William, which led to Noora falling in love with William.

And not only that because let’s all remember that Sana was the once that convinced Noora to give William a chance and to talk to Vilde about it. 

Also, thanks to Sana, Jamilla was introduced in season 2, without Sana there wouldn’t be a Jamilla.

Now let’s go to season 3. Isak and Even met at the first Kosegruppa meeting. Now, why was Isak there? Because Sana forced him to go. Even and Isak met thanks to Sana. 

And not only that, when Isak needed reassurance about his relationship with Even, Sana came and gave him her epic “hate doesn’t come from religion it comes from fear” speech. 

And now let’s go to her season, to season 4. It’s because of Sana that the pepsimaxi were back, she was the one that allowed them to join the girl squad bus (as much as we all hated that). 

Then as we all know, Sana was the reason why Noorhelm got back together thanks to the email she sent from Noora’s account. But not only that because when William came back, so did P-Chris making Chriseva happen again. 

I mean, she’s even the reason why Emma is back. Jonas invited Emma to Sana’s party on Saturday which led her to talk to the girls and to Eva finding out about Emma and Jonas which led us (through Chris Berg) to find out about Eva and Jonas hooking up.

And we got Jamilla back this season, again thanks to Sana.

And let’s not forget about the biggest reunion this season. The Balloon Squad + Even. The Balloon Squad got introduced because Elias is Sana’s brother which led us to find out that they were Even’s old friends. And you know who was the reason why the Balloon Squad and Even reconnected? Exactly, Sana. First Isak saw Mikael in Sana’s laptop which led him to ask Even about it. And the biggest move, the karaoke party. If Sana hadn’t invited the Balloon Squad to the karaoke party the fight would’ve never happened and that fight, as weird as it sounds, was the first step to Even and Balloon Squad reunion. Also we have to talk about Eva’s birthday. The Balloon Squad was there, why? Because Vilde asked them to come. Why? Because she was having trouble with Magnus. Why? Because the Pepsimaxi girls had made the Vilde instragram account. Why? Because Sana had made the Sara instagram account. And that party, Eva’s party was the moment where Even and the Balloon Squad reconnected and are friends again. 

All because of Sana.

So basically? 

There wouldn’t be a show without Sana. 

She’s the reason this show exists and all I can do is be grateful for that.

As a Muslim girl I'm fine with this season??? They showed sana and her relationship with Islam and how it conflicts with her Norwegians identity??? Something a lot of Muslim teenagers face??? What's the problem??? Ofc they couldn't make the entire season about sana and Islam because sana isn't just her religion and so much more??? Gosh
