“You can’t seriously think that? There is no originality to their songs, whatsoever!”
A thing I have to say:
If I’m RPing with you, I’m not “putting up” with you. I’m RPing with you because I fucking like it. You are not a burden, you are not an inconvenience. You are a delight. YOU ARE A DELIGHT.
Dean stared for a moment, disbelieving. Rory seemed so out of place in this setting, the city instead of rural Connecticut. It was almost jarring to see her without the mountains or Luke’s as a back drop.”Hey, hi” he responded, glancing around. He didn’t see anyone else carrying boxes. “Isn’t anyone helping you move in?”
Amelia tugged impatiently on his arm “Daddy who’s that?” Dean shifted uncomfortably, trying to find a word for what Rory was to him. “This is Rory, she’s an old friend” he explained simply before turning back to the brunette “This is my daughter, Amelia.”
“I have to take her home first but if you need a hand carrying those boxes, i’m not busy.” Dean offered, Amelia huffed at that. “I don’t want to stay home"
Rory was wondering slightly if she had just been seeing things when she had called the man in front of Dean seeing as how he still hadn’t answered her and was just kind of staring. She shifted uncomfortably, moving her box over to the other side of her body. When he finally responded, the brunette let out a soft sigh of relief. “Hi,” came her slightly breathless reply. She looked back at the truck, before shaking her head. “Oh, uh, no. I mean Luke said he’d help, but my mom kind of needed him at the last minute and I can do this.”
When the little girl spoke up, Rory realized for the first time that there was a little girl attached to Dean. “Daughter?” She sputtered, her blue eyes widening a little. She knew that her and Dean had fallen out of touch, but how did she not know that he had a daughter? Was she Lindsay’s? Had Dean met someone else? Setting the box down at her feet, she bent down so she could see Amelia better. “Hi, cutie. I’m Rory. It’s nice to meet you,” she smiled at the little girl.
“Do you wanna help?” She asked the younger girl. She had a bag or something small the girl could take if she wanted to really be apart of this endeavor.

“Amy, wait–” Dean protested as his daughter leaped out of the car as soon as they pulled up in front of their apartment building. He just shook his head before putting the vehicle in park and following her. The five year old was already peaking inside a u-haul full of boxes with curiosity. He would never understand where Amelia got her enthusiasm from since neither he nor her mother were particularly energetic.
“Come on kiddo, that stuff’s not yours” Dean said, grabbing the girls hand and leading her away from the truck. “There was so many books” Amelia responded “Like four whole boxes.”
“I guess they like reading” he shrugged “Let’s go and let them unpack.” he continued to lead her to the building, almost knocking over a woman carrying a box labeled “bath” in the process “Oh, sorry–”
The whole thing was stressful and Rory couldn’t remember the last time she had been this stressed over something. She knew what an opportunity this was and it was something she dreamed about doing -- but the hassle of moving was seriously putting a damper on things. The brunette had only taken five boxes upstairs so far and she felt like there were a kajillion more waiting outside in the U-haul out front.
Making her way back downstairs, she huffed, blowing a piece of bangs out of her eyesight as she reached the lobby area. No one was around, which made Rory feel less self-conscious about lugging boxes in by herself. Pushing the door opened, instead of going to get boxes out of the back, she went to the front to grab a box of bath stuff she had sitting up front with her.
Suddenly the blue-eyed girl could hear voices, but she couldn’t make out what they were saying. Choosing to ignore it, she grabbed the box before heading back to the doors of the apartment complex. Rory wasn’t really paying attention to her surroundings and was busy trying to hoist the box up higher in her arms when she nearly collided with someone just before reaching the doors. “No. This is totally my fault, I wasn’t --” she looked up, her blue eyes meeting the man’s. She froze. “Dean?”
Did you actually love Dean the last time around or did you just miss the way he treated you?
I loved Dean. A part of me will always love him – he was my first love and my first boyfriend. I think part of me did miss the way things had been a bit, the familiarity of “Dean and Rory”, but I did truly feel something for him the second time around.
Do you ever regret not getting married to Logan?
No. I loved Logan, don’t get me wrong, but at the time it just wasn’t right. Had circumstances been different, in a perfect world – maybe everything would have ended up working. But, no. I don’t regret it.

// Hey! I abandoned this blog and I’m sorry, but school got so hectic and now that it’s over I wanna love it again. That and my feels are way too high since the reunion panel. I’m going to do an overhaul with this blog; new icons, theme, tags, etc.
But I’m looking forward to getting back in the game and I’m ready to love down all Gilmore Girl’s players.
I should probably start by just apologizing. I'm so sorry guys. Life just got really hectic, really fast. I had some pretty drastic things happen before Christmas and I am still not really over it... I am trying my best to cope even now, but it's hard.
Still, I am going to reply to messages in my inbox and do replies later tonight/early tomorrow when I get up. Sigh.. anyways, to those who stuck around, thank you.
His smile never wavered. Tristan looked the new girl over and lightly queried, “No?” with an arch to his brow, not overly invested in the girl’s name, if he were being honest, and he so loathed to lie. "I thought maybe I could offer to help you out" he suggested smoothly. His fingers presumptuously danced along the strap of her backpack, heaving, it seemed, with books. “You know, catching up,” Tristan clarified, furthering, “or maybe with the fifty or so books you appear to be lugging around?” Taking a theatrical step back and giving a flourish of his hand, a slight bow to his form he looked up at her with a mischievous smile. "May I?"
Rory found something very off-putting about the boy's smile and his too-white teeth. It was like one of those horror flicks where the girl falls for the preppy, jock guy and he ends up murdering everyone she loves and in the end, her as well. They was this guy came off just had Rory wanting to slam his hand in her locker. He was the type of guy who felt they were overly-entitled to everything. “No. It's Rory,” she muttered, not wanting to waste too much time talking to him.
The blue-eyed girl watched as he reached for her backpack, tensing immediately. “No thanks. I've already got notes and I've been carrying a backpack for eleven years now, I think I've got the hang of it,” she quipped, grabbing the last book from her locker before shutting it.
She rolled her eyes. “If I say yes, will you leave me alone after this brief encounter is over?” She asked, quirking a brow in his direction.

Dean was all for going to this Luke’s for pie. And other food. But he noticed how hopeful Rory seemed. She looked at Sam like she was lost. And just wanted to see that face again. He felt bad for her. He knew love and loss. It was something every hunter dealt with. If seeing his brother face made this girl happy even for a second. Who was he to take that away. He’d only really step in if she tried to replace Dean with Sam. That would only end up with her heart breaking. Or Sam’s. “Alright we’ll be there.” He said on his behalf. Sam nodded. “Yes we’ll come. I guess you have to bring those bread crumbs to your grandmother though.”
Dean smiled at Rory. “To save any confusion amongst your townspeople you can just call me Pie Dean.” He figured it was better than Dean one and Dean two. “It’s a lot better than Dean two or thing two.” Sam shook his head. “So Rory what do you do” he asked curious about her life. She obviously graduated college. “Where you go to college?” He was curious since he once went to Stanford. Dean shook his head. “Here we go the normal conversation. save it for Dinner Sam. I am actually kind of hungry.”
Rory let out a breath she hadn't realized she had been holding. It was risky bringing this kind of situation anywhere near her mom and she already knew what her mom would say about it and Rory wanted so badly to not care. Unfortunately, the words and endless possibilities just swirled round and round in her mind until she realized they were looking at her. “Great. Trust you, you won't regret it.. Luke's is great,” she promised with another small smile. At the mention of the bread crumbs, she glanced down laughing. “Yeah, I probably should.. if she doesn't have these for dinner tomorrow night I will never hear the end of it.
The blue-eyed girl laughed louder than she normally would have, but she was still a bit nervous given what had happened in the span of forty minutes. “Pie Dean, I like it. Just know that a lot of people might call you Dean,” she turned to Sam with a slight grimace. “Just because well.. yeah.” Rory didn't feel the need to go into details. At Sam's question she ran a hand through her hair with a small shrug. “I'm a reporter.” She nodded slowly. It was always weird talking about her job to strangers. “Oh, I went to Yale, not too far from here.” The girl laughed at the eldest brother's words and his obvious need of nourishment. “I guess I will meet you guy's in Stars Hollow?”
So I was stuck babysitting all day and it really sucked, but we made cookies which was fun. Kind of just want to sleep, but I'm going to try and pump a reply or two out first.

Dean smiled as Sam walked in. “Well a half sister is still blood. On your dad’s side at least. Partially? We have a half brother Adam that we don’t get along with really. But mostly because we kind of just found out he existed. Long story.” He only told her about Adam because he thought if he said he had a half sibling he didn’t really know it’d be relatable. “I am sure you guys could become closer.” He wondered if Sam would find the bread crumbs fast or not. “I am older by the way. Four years older.”
“Rory you had sad written all over your face since talking about him. And I shouldn’t have asked if he was an ex.” He didn’t really ask why she hadn’t seen him in awhile. But coming from a small town he bet he was her first kiss and first boyfriend. He didn’t know what to tell her but she seemed okay talking to him. “So I can only guess he was your first love. And running into Sam is more than weird for you. So once he comes out I think we both should go.
Sam came back out with the bread crumbs. He handed them to Rory. “There errand ran for you.” Dean smiled. “So Sam I think we should be going and let Rory go visit her grandparents.” Sam almost didn’t want to. “We probably should. Unless you intend to invite us to dinner I think that’s best.” he joked.
“That's true... she's a lot younger so we don't really connect all that well.. plus my dad doesn't live in Connecticut and I don't really see him as much as I probably should,” she confessed, spilling a secret to a total stranger that she had been keeping inside for awhile. “I hope we can get closer. April is closer to my age, but still several years younger,” she frowned slightly. They had another brother but they didn't get along with him all that well and didn't know he existed until as of late-- that would be her and Gigi one day. “Four? Wow.. I have to say you don't look that much older.” As harmless as the words were, her cheeks were tinted with a faint blush.
“It's not.. it's not a big deal.” She shrugged trying to play it off. “I-I.. even after all this time I'm not sure what he was... I mean my boyfriend, sure, but... it was just a bit bumpy at parts,” she sighed, shaking her head. She didn't want to talk about this with her mom or Lane, she certainly didn't want to talk about it with a complete stranger. As much as she wanted to object, what reason did she really have? She sighed inwardly. “Yeah.. you've got that thing to worry about or whatever, anyways.”
Upon Sam's return the girl smiled softly, taking them from him. “Thank you.. you are a lifesaver,” she laughed quietly, giving Dean a look at his words. They didn't have to go, unless Rory really was making both of them uncomfortable. Rory bit her lip at the man's words contemplating them. “You're headed to Stars Hollow anyway right? And Dean you've got a soft spot for pie... Luke's has the best everything dinner-related. That's an official invitation,” she laughed. Rory was almost too hopeful. She knew her reasons were completely selfish. She only wanted them to stick around for a bit because she had missed her Dean way too much and Sam... he was like a breath of fresh air that she really needed.

Sam smiled. “We deal with jerks more often than Caspers.” But Sam left it at that and realized she seemed worried about making him uncomfortable. He was worried about making her as such. It was awkward because he didn’t know what to say. But Sam didn’t remember many career days. “We didn’t really stay in one spot as kids. Our dad was a hunter too. Sort of just passed down.” Dean knew Sam always hated the lack of normalcy. “Yeah we moved schools a lot. Missed career day sometimes. And when we didn’t it was kind of not memorable” Dean said.
Dean appreciated her thank you. “Thank you Rory.” He noted she seemed close to Luke. “Well then you’ll have to take us to get some pie.” When she mentioned they seemed close something flicker in her. She must have siblings that she wasn’t as close to. “We’ve been close since we were kids. Dad was always away.”
And that was as personal he was going to get with her until they knew each other better. “You have any siblings Rory?” he asked. And Sam figured he’d let her talk to Dean for a bit. Make it less weird. “Well on that note how about I go get the bread crumbs for you and you can chat with my brother. I’ll go fast and save you the task.” Sam said walking into the store.
Dean watched his brother go. “He’s a very helpful guy. But I think he was worrying he was making you uncomfortable. We’ve never experienced running into someone that knows anyone that looks like one of us before.”
Rory tried to avoid letting her gaze linger too long on Sam, trying to focus more on Dean, but she then suddenly wondered if by doing so she was going to make Dean uncomfortable. She was at a loss. Biting the inside of her lip, she nodded along with the man's words. “Hunter.. A hunter of strange things, right.” Rory wanted to add some cute quip or a line from a movie, but she was drawing a blank. Was it possible that anything they said held any sort of truth? “Ah. I lived in the same tiny town my whole life and I've known the same people my whole life.. I didn't start meeting new people until college really,” she shrugged.
“You're welcome, Dean,” she smiled, although she struggled to get the name out. Not because of him, but because the name Dean was associated with someone she had been through a lot with and when it had all ended badly, Rory had been left picking up the aftermath by herself. “Sure.. I mean.. if you've got time on your visit here.” The girl could understand that. It was always just her and her mom growing up and because of it her mom was her best friend-- sure she had Lane and Grandma and Grandpa and even her dad and Luke, but her mom was always number one. “My dad, too...” She said quietly. Not sadly, but with a certain finality to it.
The brunette nodded although she felt like she should shake her head. “Not by blood. My dad and his fiancee have a daughter, so I've a half-sister on that side and my mom's finacee has a kid so a soon-to-be step-sister on that end.. I really don't get on well with either of them. I mean.. not like you two,” she pointed between the two brother's. There was a hint of bitterness in her tone which she hoped she was hiding well enough for them to at least not catch it. Before Rory could say anything otherwise Sam had walked into the store and Rory stared after his path for a few moments before turning back to Dean.
At this the girl laughed nervously, crossing her arms loosely over her middle. “I... why would I be uncomfortable?” She tried to play it off, but it was clear that these two were a bit too insightful to just write the emotions on her face off-- they were good at reading people it seemed. “It's a bit weird for me, too.. especially not having seen.. Dean in a while,” her voice got quiet.
