Meaningless

There is any meaning to life as we know it? You work your ass off for it to never be enough. You love so much it hurts only to lose him or her at some point in life. You need and want for things that will never truly matter. There is a point when I wonder what's the point? Life is just a struggle that only ends when you die. No matter what you do you will end up in the ground with nothing and no one. Why do we work so hard to earn things only for these things to mean nothing in the end? Why do we work so hard to love and care for people just to lose them? I'm just numb to this pointless life. I know now that this is all just one big crap shoot. I work myself to death only to just work more the next day. I try so hard in school only so I can get a "better" job to kill myself at. I have reached a point where I don't need sleep or food to function. Cuz it won't matter in the end. Nothing matters now or will it ever.
