“Hi Jade!”
“Have you seen all the snow outside? It’s falling fast!” The girl said before shivering quickly.
“It’s snowing??” the girl gasped and ran to the window to look out, “That is ah-mazing!! We should go play in it!”
“I would if I wasn’t so cold!” Jade said with a shiver. “Like, really fast! Like if somebody had cursed the land!”
“Cursed the land?”She gasps, “Oh no! who would do that?? I bet Mr. Ceedric can help if that was true!”
"Hi, Sofia!!"
“Hi Jade!”

Did I mention I watch Sofia the First? And that I’ve kinda started shipping Sofia with Hugo? Like, really badly? I mean, just imagine the two of them growing up together, being ice dancing partners and the occasional flying derby partners and slowly realizing they’re in love as they get older.
….Don’t judge me. Or my butchering of their jacket and skirt…
Has anyone else noticed that Sofia is really similar to Ariel with her facial structure? Her mom’s closer to Belle though… And they both have more of Aurora’s hair… ….I’ve studied the Disney princesses too much.

The night had finally come, the big Wassailia ball was finally here! Jade and Sofia had been talking about all week! Jade wasn’t invited but it was a tradition to talk about it. At the moment, Jade and Sofia were saying their goodbyes as they waited for the coach to take Sofia back to the castle.
“Have fun at the ball Sofia!”

“Oh Jade, I wish you could come.” Sofia said and looked at her friend sadly, “We’d have so much fun and besides it’s Wassailia! The time of giving!” Her eyes widen, a idea coming to mind. “Giving! I insist you stay for our ball!” She grins and bounces, “My gift to you.”
Jade gasped, turning to her friend and jumping up and down. “You want me to go to the Royal ball?! Oh my goodness!”
“Uh, duh! You are my best friend and it would only seem right if you stayed. Besides, you helped me and Baileywick set up, it only seems right that you go too.” She smiles and takes her hand, “You can wear one of my dresses.”
Jade was excited, but then a huge wave hit over her. A wave she wasn’t expecting. Nervousness. “B-But I can’t Sofia, I’m not royalty! I’ll never be able to fit in! Nobody wants a villager at a royal ball!”
She walked away, going over to the window seat and looking out the window at the snow falling.
“I’ll just embarrass myself.”
“Oh Jade, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. My mom and I were once villagers too, but they didn’t care because my Dad was happy. You are my best friend and you being there would make me happy, so whether they have a problem with that or not, you are going to be a princess tonight” she smiles and hugs her
