Why I Love Ha Donghoon
Over two years since the last Why I Love! I have no words to even apologize for this, it’s been a crazy two years but my love for all the members has grown exponentially. When I first started watching Running Man, I’ll admit Haha did not catch my eye, nor my heart immediately. But over time he has definitely grown into a personal favorite. He’s extremely loving and kind and loyal, everything you would want in a friend! But allow me to get a little more specific~
Why I love Ha Donghoon
He has an incredible talent of bringing out the best in people. After Yoo Jaesuk, he’s the cast member with the most “outdoor variety” so he knows what is required to shine in such a brutal environment. He sets up guests and lets them do their thing– then he fills in the gaps, making sure they get plenty of screen time! Like in episode 144, even though Jang Hoon was not very enthusiastic, Haha made up for it while still trying to make him feel comfortable!
He’s extremely kind and gentle, very true to his childlike nature.
He’s very emotional and expresses it openly! Like when his son was born he cried openly and he posted the cutest, emotional tweet thanking his wife!
He expresses his love and admiration for the people in his life often and sincerely.
Can you talk about couple goals! He supports and loves his wife and they both love each other very openly, Haha openly praises his wife and jokes with her and vice versa.
He is the Original Betrayal Master!
He’s actually the cutest member like he’s adorable.
He’s extremely hard working. Even though he always has a smile on his face does not mean he takes it very easy. He’s very aware of his role and does his best to fulfill it above and beyond. He has given the most heartbreaking interview in the entirety of Running Man’s airing.
He’s scared of literally everything.
No really. Everything.
But even through his fear he pushes forward and works hard, giving up so much just to make his fans smile another day. He makes sure everyone who comes on Running Man has a good time and doesn’t feel anxious about variety.
What Ha Donghoon has taught me
No one is good at everything, and everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, and to always use your own strengths to help other people’s weaknesses easier.
Loving people easily and openly does not make you weak, neither does expressing your emotions.
Hard work will repay you in time, as long as you’re humble and keep your priorities straight.
It’s okay to be scared. Being scared is not a weakness, it what makes us human.
