Today, a friend and I went to the public library after school to participate in National Novel Writing Month. We are not using the official website, as NaNoWriMo has been said to have done things that we are against. However, we still would like to participate in writing with each other and growing as writers. I am working on a book of poetry that I hope to get published. I will be attending these meetings every week, as well as writing on my own time.
