This isn’t exclusive to comics either. Paper Mario has also had a reputation of making her kind but have a short temper with people who aren’t worthy of her grace, and in Super Paper Mario where she’s a playable character, she in the opening FIGHTS THROUGH BRAINWASHING THAT NOBODY ELSE IN THE GAME DOES and also blows up a redditors computer because he was being creepy to her

Conclusion: Peach can be frilly and girly and a badass who will kill you if you look at her wrong at the same time
