I feel like I need to share this because idk if Europeans are familiar with the presence of Aldi in the US, but at least especially in my area they’ve been growing a lot recently. Like Aldi bought out some local failing grocery chains where I live (Louisiana) and have opened Aldis in all these somewhat rural communities and small towns, which for the record I’m fine with

But as a result of this they are advertising a lot more in my area and also in many cases, the people in these areas have never been confronted with Aldi or any European grocery store. So the ads that Aldi is pushing out to its new US customer base feature a cowboy shopping at Aldi who is explaining to new Aldi customers how Aldi works. Like this cowboy is explaining you gotta put a quarter in the shopping cart and why there are very little name brands. A cowboy is how they want to reach their American customer base. They gave us a cowboy

T-2 days till I'm a uni student again and I want to throw up

maybe I'm too much of a Fiction Mausi, but the pacing of non-fiction books throws me off so much sometimes. That substance over style approach is not conducive to my ability to take in knowledge, unfortunately. Throw a Spannungsbogen in there and maybe I'll actually learn something.

Well, so it turns out they were asked!! I don't know what the original sources were but these are some clips!

First up, Yeonjun says that his Ideal Type is someone like his mom. Soobin goes HAHAHAHA first and then to buy time says, "Someone who has matching hobbies with me." And the girl who asked says she likes listening to music and reading books and he says him too!

So you're right - it needs to be someone wilder than this chick to bring out his feral side.

By the way, here's a bonus for you.

In this clip from a Live broadcast, Soobin says that recently 50% of the texts he gets from fans are those asking to marry him. He wants to know if they're leaving these messages from a true hope that Soobin* would actually marry them or if this is more calculated, as in, if you write this message you think Soobin* is more likely to respond to your message? The girls writing in are some of them like IT'S A JOKE (and he's annoyed?!?!) and half are like I MEAN IT FOR REAL and he concludes that it seems to be a 50/50 split

*He says his own name in the third person like a certain Milky Noodle of the Loud Masculinity Team, Princess Inclusive, except he does that guy one better, by adding an affectionate/ intimate suffix: Soobin-ee. (Granted it's easier to do this with an "n" ending sound than a name that ends in a vowel, but STILL).

Someone's gotta take one for the team and make it Weird (respectfully). I'm afraid you'll probably have to embarrass yourself first, because this type of question tends to work better if the interviewer gives up information as well, but I promise we'll cut that part out of the clips and forget it ever happened. We just need one initial sacrifice to revv his engines, so to speak.

and what a shame there's so little manhandlers in his group, we are missing out big time on that front. Taehyun, the world needs you!!
