I guess this is our intro post so hey. Still figuring Tumblr out so please be patient with us 😅.

We're the Prism Glass System. We are a polyfragmented DID System. We are also autistic (and a few other types of neurospicy), which impacts our experience as a system. We've been system/trauma aware since 2018 and diagnosed since 2021. We are an adult and only plan to have adults fronting to use this account.

Endos please don't interact unless you are sending science-based studies/articles. I consider myself open-minded to well done research but do consider myself anti-endo & can't see my opinion changing. With that said, I consider myself a learner for life and always welcome new research that I may not yet be aware of 😊.

I think one of the funniest abortion stances I've heard was from my parents neighbor. He's a like, hard-core libertarian viking larper guy who is very tall and very fat and very bald.

He believes a fetus is human with a soul, but also its "basically attacking the woman's body" so if she wants to get rid of it, that's "basically self-defense". He compared it to shooting a home invader. So he supports abortion not as healthcare, but as killing a baby in self-defense

Y'know I'm so glad someone reminded me of this. Because this was also discussed.

My stepmother did NOT like the way her Libertarian Viking Neighbor framed pregnancy as the fetus "attacking the woman". She incredulously told him this was extremely disrespectful to expectant mothers to portray pregnancy as so violent and negative.

Libertarian Viking Neighbor's response was that people consensually hurt each other all the time, and "there's like a whole community about that, with the acronym the one that starts with a B" And his reasoning was that if the mother was consenting to bring attacked by the baby, it in fact wasn't violent and negative because there was consent.

He brought up people consensually hurting each other, didn't go for one of the obvious answers like boxing or body mods or something, no he went STRAIGHT TO BDSM and he DIDN'T EVEN REMEMBER THE ACRONYM

The frustrating thing is that while some trans men can attain a level of social privilege from being viewed as male, even if every trans man passed perfectly it wouldn’t mean we could escape. T won’t make me more likely to survive a car crash when vehicles aren’t made for my body, it won’t allow me autonomy over my uterus, it won’t stop misogynistic abuse from anyone who finds out I’m trans or knew me pre-transition. For trans men outside of the imperial core, he/him pronouns in English don’t save them from forced marriage, pregnancy, honor killings, acid attacks, FGM, etc they are protected from fucking NONE of it. The only privilege we could ever achieve on the basis of gender is some men being nicer to us when we hide our identities and pasts. We will never be able to attain the privilege of having the world be built for us and our bodies unless we overhaul the whole system.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but if you have “weird” coping mechanisms that is totally fine. Some people who have been through very frightening situations find horror or murder mysteries comforting. Some SA survivors (myself included) find spicy books comforting. Some adults love stuffed animals.

These are just a few examples. Don’t let people make you ashamed of the things that give you glimpses of joys.

One yelled at and berated me in session. Another was acephobic and connected my gender dysphoria to the disordered eating pattern I had, which turned into a much bigger issue later on.

Currently having one of my worst blackout amnesias because of schoolwork 😅. Do I remember the last few days, not at all. Do I know that someone new did all our school work and absolutely exhausted himself, somehow yes. 😅 Rest up my guy.

I'm really just hoping I don't go dormant when school starts again. The first day of our program is Monday and I just don't want to disappear again like before. I wish my stress tolerance was what it used to be, but I know that in most ways I was in a worse place mentally then. It's hard not to feel like the others in the system took my coping skills away from me. But I know this is just part of my process in unmasking and actually healing. It's bumpy. It's not always pretty. But I'm getting there. I just still don't know how to deal with dormancies being part of this all.

I was nonverbal for a full day (as soon as I switched in). Then finally when I was able to talk again, I get a flashback after 15 mins. And now I'm nonverbal again 😐. Seriously wtf. And it was one of my good days at that
