Shout out to my local black owned beauty supply for teaching me how to love my hair and to take care of it. My hair is the longest it's been since childhood and I don't struggle with brushing it and styling it like I used to.

Things I have learned:

-My hair type

-the right types of combs to use

-what shampoo/conditioner and styling products are best for my hair type

-the absolute magic of bonnets and satin pillowcases

Also like, the products are fucking fantastic and affordable!!!! I used to buy stuff at the salon that did NOT work for me that was VERY expensive. Definitely not worth it. But to buy products that actually work and are significantly more affordable is so lovely!!! Also the ladies at the beauty supply are so nice 😭😭😭😭 I highly recommend supporting to your local black owned beauty supply!!!!
