How to deal with kids (without hitting them)
1. The Best Defense is a Good Offense: Be proactive with children’s behavior.
Don’t wait until a child is in the middle of a meltdown in the toiletries aisle of Target. Try to be aware of how different situations and stimuli might affect kids of different ages. A few tips:
Kids, especially toddler age kids, struggle with transitions. Give them a clear time table and stick to it. Give them updates as deadlines approach. “We are leaving the library in 5 minutes.” “We need to go see Grandma in 10 minutes.” “Target will only take 20 minutes.”
Getting toted around by adults can be exhausting and frustrating. Give kids tasks to do. Put them in charge of something. It can be something actually helpful (you get to hold the calculator and keep track of how much money we are spending in the store) or something fun to keep their mind busy (count all the blue things in this aisle.) Talk to your kids. Help them feel involved, instead of just a tote bag.
Model self care and emotional awareness. Kids are often dealing with SUPER new emotions, and may not know how to recognize them, contextualize them, or act on them. Talk through your own emotions, or emotions you think they may be having, and show them how to deal with them. “Yeah, I know, mommy is really sad that we can’t go to the park because of the rain. It makes me feel really bad inside. I think if we color with crayons for a while, I’ll feel better.”
Give kids choices. Obviously, age plays a big part here, but a reasonable, curated set of appropriate choices gives kids a growing feeling of agency and teaches making good choices. “Would you like peas or green beans?” “Penguin Shirt or Turtle Shirt?” “Water or apple juice?” This requires YOU to also speak with and listen to the kids. Always important.
Consistency is very important. Make sure your rules are clear, the reasons are clear, and the consequences are clear BEFOREHAND. Kids really can’t just infer rules out of thin air. They need to be taught the expectations, and then YOU need to keep to them.
Be aware of how the children in YOUR care react to things, and find ways to mitigate “bad” behavior before it happens.
2. “Punishment” is not the goal. Discipline means teaching.
Your goal, as a parent, as a teacher, as a baby sitter, is not to punish kids. Your goal is to help teach kids how to become thoughtful, responsible, and kind people. The entire idea of kids “deserving” bad things because they’ve “been bad” is flawed. If a kid does something “bad”, then we should aim to help them not make that bad choice again.
How?
Identify any immediate stimuli or situation causing the bad behavior and remove/alter it so the behavior stops. This might mean leaving an errand unfinished, a time out, taking away a toy, etc, in order to STOP the behavior that is happening RIGHT NOW.
Talk to the child about why their behavior was “bad.” What bad affects could it have? How does it affect others? What caused it? Kids, even very young kids, can understand complicated things if explained in terms on their level.
Come up with a plan for what to do next time the original stimuli or situation happens. If Timmy tries to take your truck again, what can we do differently? The next time we are in line at the bank, what can we do to make it more fun?
If the child is older, and the offense is more severe, you may feel the need for a tangible consequence. Remember that these should be age appropriate, reasonable, and negotiable. Give kids the ability to reduce their consequence with good behavior, and be willing to modify the consequence if they have a compelling and reasonable request. Listening to kids and being empathetic is not a weakness. It is a sign of respect.
3. Don’t forget that kids are people. Kids are also kids.
Kids will not be perfect angels. You will not be a perfect adult. Sometimes they will be cranky, angry, tired, hungry, selfish, or mean. You can be these things to. One bad day doesn’t mean you are a failure, and it doesn’t mean the kids are a failure. You have to let kids have bad days sometimes. You have to love them anyway and be willing to give it a fresh go tomorrow.
Working with kids is not easy. No one said it would be. But part of working with kids is the obligation to always be thoughtful about our interactions with them- we teach them with everything we do. So we should treat them with all the respect, kindness, thoughtfulness, and patience we want them to learn.

establish your aesthetic
first thing’s first, you need to know where you want to go in life and what is your “aesthetic”? do you want to be giving “classy, businesswoman”? what about “nyc socialite”? of course these are just examples, but you should know what type of girl you want to embody. remember, you don’t have to fit a narrative, but you should have a general “aesthetic” that you want to be associated with. even if it’s 50 million different aesthetics, it’s whatever makes you, you.
visualize yourself/life
get inspired by making a vision board (physical or digital) and add to your board (if digital) daily. i find that this helps you stay in alignment with where you want to be in the future. you have to stay in that frequency and remind yourself of what’s next to come… because this new life is what’s next to come.
start with habits
please refer to my “starting your leveling up journey” post, but basically— you should create 1-3 habits for each of your goals and work on them until they become second nature. then when you’re ready, start implementing more habits that are aligned with your goals.
create routines with your habits
can you incorporate some of these new habits into a morning or evening routine? we all know that routines are important— they almost become our personalities and they set the tone for the day and night, and even the next day. for me, i know i’m only inspired to exercise in the morning around 10am, so exercise is part of my morning routine.
create daily + weekly goals
let’s say part of your journey is learning a new language. a daily goal could be learning one new vocabulary word in that language. your weekly goal could be knowing the alphabet in that language. use this method for all of your goals.
don’t overwhelm yourself with goals, routines, and habits
start slow; don’t overwhelm yourself. if you want to work on one goal at a time, then work on that one goal. burnout is real and it’s very hard to get back into the swing of things afterwards. i understand most of us are impatient when we just want to be a different version of ourselves, but it’s going to take some adjusting. i suggest not working on more than 3 things at once, but if you can work on more, go ahead
be a part of a community to keep you accountable
tumblr and facebook groups in my opinion are the best ways you can connect with other women who are working on the same thing. you can inspire one another, bounce ideas off of one another, and it’s super fun. you might want to even document your journey online.
set milestones and have a reward system
let’s say you would like to lose or gain weight, no matter the number, focus on 5-10 pound increments. when each milestone is successfully completed, reward yourself with something nice. maybe it’s getting your nails done, or splurging on a product that everyone on tiktok keeps talking about. apply this to any of your goals where there are milestones to get to.
don’t waste the day
you should not have any “zero days” meaning… you should be doing at least one thing everyday to reach a goal(s) you have. it doesn’t matter if one goal was to maintain a more organized, clean environment— do your dishes, set the trash out, clean up the hair from the bathroom sink, etc.

How I Manifest With States
Step 1. I decide I have what I want
Step 2. I do nothing (maybe watch movies 😹😹💗💗) (or drink ☕️ and chill 💓💓) because now I have what I want, so there is nothing left to do 💓
Step 3. Every time I think about that thing I’ll say “I have it already” and that’s it! Usually this part isn’t even necessary because it comes FAST 🔥
You don’t have to affirm over and over or reprogram your mind, you don’t have to do 💩 to get what you want! 💗 All you have to do is decide you have it now and once it’s done it done, I know this works because once I said “I want YSL Black Opium Perfume so I’m going to have it soon” and the very next day my friend gave me two brand new bottles of it for free 🖤🖤🖤 I didn’t affirm more than once or drain myself with repetition, I just decided I want it so I’m going to have it and the very next day it came to me 💗💗💗 Not even just one bottle, but two! 💕💕
I know we’ve been told repetition is what manifests and that we have to affirm over and over for every single thing we want, but that’s not only not true, it’s also incredibly draining and stressful! Do you think GOD needs to worry about saturating their mind ???

Step 1: What do you want?
Step 2: You already have it
• You don't have to affirm 24/7 or affirm AT ALL if you don't want to! 💗 Because it’s DONE! Just decide you have it and tell yourself you have it every time you think of it! 💕💕💕 So let’s use states for someone who wants long hair but they’re bald: “Okay I decided my hair is long so it is DONE. There is nothing left for me to do. If I want I can say “I already have long hair” every time I think about my hair IF I want to but it’s already done.”
Decide you have it, and know there is nothing left to do, you are so powerful you don’t need to do ANYTHING but decide 💗 Don’t suffer with repeating affirmations all day everyday if you don’t want to, because at the end of the day it’s YOU deciding it’s true that manifests, not the repetition 💗
Don’t burn yourself out affirming all day every day for some breadcrumbs, go straight to the end and decide you have it now, so there’s nothing left to do 💗

•Working out regularly, I have been doing mainly cardio and tummy/waist exercises. It makes me feel so good, moves around the stagnant energy, and uplifts my mood
•Doing breast massages with coconut oil multiple times a day, this has made them so plump and round, my skin is softer, and they’re growing as well. It is a good practice for the heart chakra, as it opens it and gets the energy flowing through the blood.
•Caring with love and kindness for my hair, oiling my scalp and spraying it with a mix of water and essential oil blends. I love my curl pattern so much
•Doing mini digital detoxes during the day, I don’t feel the need to check out my phone all the time now
•Getting in touch with my breath, and concentrating on it when I feel stressed or jittery
•Letting go of old beliefs and misconceptions that I’ve had about life, the other day I wrote them on a paper and burned it with the intention of letting go. This felt so freeing and It was like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. Im gonna do it more often, because sometimes we are our own limitation and enemy, certain beliefs hinder our own happiness and growth
•Eating with the intention of love, love of food, love of my body, and love of life
•Blessing myself, I hold divine essence, so whenever I feel the need to I place my hands on my head or my heart and just bless myself, I feel the presence of God and use it to regenerate myself
•Cleansing my crown (above my head), heart, and space with sacred smoke whenever I feel the need to during the day, I usually use Palo Santo. This elevates me in so many ways
im so enamored with stories that portray love as something soft and kind because i do think that love at its core is an act of kindness. its part of the reason i prefer the idea of growing into love instead of falling in love because when i think of growing into love i think of a garden, like love is something to cultivate, to tend to daily, a steady progression of growth with some setbacks, a few dying leaves here and there, having to move to a bigger pot and a spot with more sunshine, but it’s still something that at the end of the month, or a year, or a decade, or a lifetime you can look at and see the product of your dedication, see exactly what it means to pour your heart into something. i just! love reading about kind love!

Again, this challenge is inspired by that one specifically but instead of 3 days it is going to be 7 days. This challenge will also be using @lotusmi subliminals and affirmation tapes as well. I will link them below.
Routine
I have created a routine for those who have a hard time sticking to something. This is meant to be followed. If you do use this routine, stick to it. A lot of the reasons why people don’t tap into the void is because they aren’t consistent and they don’t persist whether that be in affirmations or just living in the end.
Make sure your void list or desire list is completed. When you start this challenge I don’t want you to be focused on the list and trying to change every thing because you saw something to add to the list. Stop doing that. Get your list together or just know exactly what you want to manifest in the void.
Once the list is complete, DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING IN THAT LIST. LEAVE THE LIST ALONE. THERE IS NO REASON TO KEEP CHECKING THE LIST AND CHANGING STUFF. ITS DONE.
During the day, you can create your own affirmation tapes or subliminals to listen to. If you are using an iPhone, you can use the Parrot app to record your own voice and it automatically loops the affirmations. If not, then you can use @lotusmi HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL affirmation tapes and subliminals. This one is great to use during the day, but this one should be used with caution because it has morphic fields added to it and it might cause headaches if used for long periods of time. I would suggest using that in intervals. This one is a subliminal that can be used throughout the day but the music is quite upbeat, so just be aware of that. (I’ve personally used them and I love them!)
Also during the day if you aren’t able to listen to the subliminals or affirmation tapes, I would suggest you loop an affirmation in your head. Now, I’m going to be very clear here, you are not saying the affirmation to force the 3d to change, you are saying the affirmation to help get into the state of being a void master. Please remember that. You can use “I am a master at the void” or “I always wake up in the void” or “In my reality, I always enter the void instantly” or any other affirmation that you would prefer to use.
At night, you can either use your own affirmation tapes or your own subliminals or the ones I linked above. But I would suggest that you use this one or this one. They are very calming and that helps especially if you are trying to sleep. And before anyone asks, yes you loop every single affirmation tape or subliminal that you choose to use.
You do this for 7 days. You do it without stalking Tumblr and asking questions to every blogger. Stop being on Tumblr and stop looking up different affirmations every other day. Stick to one or two affirmations to loop during the day if you aren’t using the affirmation tapes or subliminals. And again do not say the affirmation trying to change the 3d, it doesn’t work that way. Yes, you can robotically/mindlessly affirm as well. (If you don’t know what that is, look it up).
The point of this challenge is to saturate your mind as much as you can. Do you have to do it for the whole 7 days? No, if you feel confident and you are living in the end and you know your state is one of being able to tap into the void state instantly then you don’t have to keep doing it because at that point, just tap into it.
This challenge is easy, but if you complicate it then that’s on you. I tapped into the void a little while ago and affirmed with Cotton Candy that anyone who does this challenge, will enter the void at the end of the 7 days IF THEY LIVE IN THE END AND MAKE THEIR DOMINANT STATE A STATE OF BEING ABLE TO TAP INTO THE VOID INSTANTLY. I added that because I know some people will come on here 7 days later complaining nothing happened, yet they didn’t do what was needed. So it really falls on you.

💬Affirmation tapes are pure affirmations (it is common to be only 1 aff), they are used for saturate your mind and for you conciously repeat the affirmations with the voice in the tape. They help you stick to the new story. They also help you doing 10k challenge (or others) since you can know exactly how many times you affirmed.
♥ I recommend you using them though the day while you do your daily activities.
People are using my tapes before sleep (for entering void) but that's not a thing that I recommend because a loud Alvin 🐿 in your head while you try to relax is so annoying + it can give you headaches. I only recommend using while sleep if you want to saturate your mind (you will propably get a lucid dream about the void that means your subconcious is saturated).

what to invest our time and money in to look better and better ourselves, here are a few tips

skin: medium/high skincare products, products suitable for your skin, to help you improve, moisturize…whatever you need! essentials: moisturizing cream, serum, exfoliating scrub, etc
hair: hair treatments such as hyaluronic acid treatment (provides strength and shine) organic straightening (suitable for all hair types, shiny and straight)cut the ends every so often
nails: take care of your nails with good products or go to a nail salon
make-up: medium/high-end products, i don't use foundation, but i invest in other products like mascara, face palettes (illuminating/bronzer) lipsticks…
clothing and accessories: it is not necessary to dress from head to toe brand name, invest in accessories, such as a high-quality coat for the winter, shoes, bags, jewelry, also a belt, the small details are the ones that elevate your look (i can talk about clothes in a future post)
body: set your goals according to what body you want to achieve or continue to maintain your shape, invest some of your time in exercising, eating healthy, and using moisturizing creams/oils on your body on a daily
perfume: this for me is very important, find your ideal scent, the one that best suits you, there are people who only use a good perfume on special occasions, you should use it every day! you deserve it and you are worth it!
good food: buy good food to nourish your body, fresh fruit, and vegetables, avoid buying white labels (products that imitate others with a lower price)
vitamins: for your hair, skin, nails, etc
