"Because they actively looked for it."
This.
Antis have no self-control, and they will actively go looking for stuff that pisses them off, because it's a feedback loop. They usually get a dopamine rush from feeling outraged, it makes them feel good to be "the person who knows better and has found something awful". Then they'll traipse back to their toxic anti communities so other antis can validate that outrage, and that makes them feel even better about the whole thing. Rinse, repeat.
I've shared this video before, but there's a snippet from it that drives the point home very well:

Effectively, antis have pervasive fear and anxiety over "bad" content, and not being a "good person" if they consume that content, so they constantly (and subconsciously) look for ways to quash that anxiety. They quash that anxiety through anger and outrage, which are both empowering emotions. I'm sure a lot of us know someone who gets angry at the drop of a hat whenever someone even remotely points out something bad, like they totally skip their "I feel hurt by this" reaction and immediately get angry. This is literally what's happening with antis, but in slightly different circumstances. They don't want to experience anxiety, or feel like they're not in control, and they really want to be in control. So they automatically react by seeking out stuff that makes them angry, and makes them feel like they're in control. And they never actually understand what's happening to them before they seek out that content, so they miss what's actually causing the whole instinctive desire in the first place; what's causing that need to get angry.
When they go back to their anti circles to validate that anger, they just reinforce their behaviors and reactions. It's a self-perpetuating cycle.
