Since I recently wrote a whole article on Brickcentral about how to fake space and even how to make startrails/warp trails, this photo of Jason immediately caught my eye. The angle of the spaceship gives the photo dynamic, and you could even interpret the wide laugh on Benny’s face as the acceleration forces stretching his face. But what really sells the photo for me are the star trails. They are very clean without any waviness and have the right vanishing point.

What makes the photo even better is that Jason has made posts on how he did the shot. Check out his profile if you want to know how he did it. For me it was interesting that he flipped the technique I described in my tips article – instead of moving the background, he moved the spaceship and the camera together.
