I’ve been dabbling in riso printing! I’ve been trying to figure out how I can translate my soft digital style into a risograph by separating all the color channels. I have not printed them yet, so I have no idea if they’ll work ~ I still need to pick the final colors!

Millennium Bug - YIIK: A Postmodern RPG

A flashy beetle with blue elytra and red hindwings. It appears as an enemy inside the Mind Dungeon of a strange soul android that the protagonist developed an obsession towards. It fights you alongside robot nurses and holds The Crooked Man card, making them immune to piercing attacks (until you break its cards, that is). YIIK is a strange game.

It's a computer bug, representative of the Y2K event, which is kind of a big thing in YIIK. That's supposed to be Y2K with Roman numerals, but everyone just pronounced it as "yeek" so eventually they just went with it.

Before the I.V update it didn't have the funky glowy texture and looked more like a regular bug instead of some kind of digital soul entity.
