Para celebrar el “Día de la Tierra 2016″, SACRED organizó y financió un día en que familias de Santa Catarina Minas sembraron agaves silvestres en el monte. De esta manera aprendieron de la importancia del agave, tanto en un sentido ambiental como financiero. Sembraron más de cien agaves, al finalizar El Destilado preparó un pozole especial para todos los participantes. La documentación fue hecha por Procesos Proambientales Xaquixe, con la participación de Karen Cuevas, parte del proyecto Adentro de Fuera.
To celebrate Earth Day 2016, SACRED organized and funded a day of families planting agave in the wild. Over a hundred people from Santa Catarina Minas gathered to learn about the importance of agave to the environment, as well as the financial health of the town. They planted over a hundred agaves in the wild and were treated to a special lunch prepared by El Destilado. Documentation was made by PPX, with the participation of Karen Cuevas, from “Adentro de Fuera”.
