a warm cup of tea 🍵
guess the tea!! i asked my best friends (who are not tea aficionados) to try and match the samples of tea in identical cups to the right boxes! it was so fun to watch them deduce which was which based off smell, taste, and color. what i thought was obvious, turned out to be a little difficult for them! overall, i learned about the nuances of flavor and my acquired ability to pick out flavors from the tea i've collected.
this is my tea collection! Starting with that first box of green tea to my most recent trip to England (where I splurged at an English literal tea shop) I've tried different types of tea from different places. My most interesting is Lichi tea from a Tibetan store in Dharamshala, India. And my favorite is Trader Joe's Ginger Pear White Tea, which I can thankfully get nearby! There are several not pictured; each tea flavor reminds me of a certain place and time and I'm always looking to try more!

hi welcome to my blog @proclivi-tea that i’m converting into my independent study blog into tea! Especially with the onset of rainy weather and the winter moving in, teas are a significant part of my diet. I started drinking, collecting, and loving tea when my neighbor’s dad returned from a business trip to China, bringing back some authentic green tea as a present for us. Through this blog, I want to become well-versed in the huge variety of teas, global customs of tea, making my own tea, and of course, trying as many as I can. I can’t wait to show you what brews and I hope you will continue on this journey with me!
I also have a Pinterest board titled tranquili-tea with many related pins, if that’s your cup of tea.
