nostalgia-baiting myself by using crash course videos to study for my E&M exam
26.05.2026 // drowning in the stress spiral
struggling with the current chapter that i am writing; once again, the feeling that i've bitten off more than i can chew. i'm dealing with the stress by procrastinating, which is of course causing even more stress. last week of teaching and then off to marking assignments.
a friend told me that she's finally submitting her phd thesis next week and i actually gasped out loud. when i had first met her 2.5yrs ago, she had just come back from her fieldwork and was struggling to get back into writing. we will eventually get there.

The past month has gone without me properly realizing. I have mainly worked on a book I hated for my thesis but that is fortunately done. I did get a lot of time in the garden as well as reading on the balcony. I ate a lot of berries and spent time with the dog. So honestly despite everything I can say I have been a happy hobbit.
01.06.26 🍀 not doing super well. there's so much to do and so many deadlines, everything stresses me out. the only ray of hope is that the worst will be over by next week, and that i got to attend a frog party 🐸

I did some studying today but first and foremost I ironed a pile of clothes bigger than my entire self. June starts tomorrow (what) and I'm less than two weeks away from the first final of the semester (WHAT)

Gave my second to last presentation of the semester yesterday! As is my personal tradition, here's what I still have to accomplish before summer break starts:
one last presentation (which is almost finished)
3 finals
finishing up the specialization project (including writing a report, but I've already written most of it)
i'm a happy boy
