My first day of Summer semester 🌷

probably the busiest saturday i had in a while; revised just a little in the morning, got called in for work, drove back for a coffee with a friend and then headed straight for a concert. had a few moments of reflection throughout the day, so i will call that productive. otherwise, i haven't done much.

I still can't believe it, but I GOT THE INTERNSHIP!! I'm going to spend this August learning at my country's academy of sciences and with my lab partner at that (honestly, I wouldn't have been brave enough to do this without her, bless this girl). We met up with our mentor for the first time today and he seems great - I mean, he told us he has four cats, of course he's great...
