Gav: I've spent most of my day feeling incredibly blessed. I think my students have noticed... There's a grin on my face they're enjoying teasing me about.

Gav: Sorry for pushing this conversation, btw. The one about exes. It's something I've been thinking about lately, my ex. I was having a conversation with someone about commitment, and I've been thinking about what made that relationship not work. Not something I usually focus on, but... I don't know. Can't shake the curiosity lately.

Gavin: And yet, I love that Davlin's nearly as hopeless a cook as I am, so... so much for complimentary skills.

Gavin: Not that we're a couple.

Gavin: The sad thing is that I knew that, and yet... The thing is that I'm forgetful, so I'll see the foil and know it's meant to come off, but get distracted. My fire extinguisher and I are old friends, though I don't have to use it as often as you'd expect.

Gavin: I'm honestly surprised by how common that twin fetish thing seems to be. What in the world would make anyone think that twins would be interested in such a thing? And I've noticed the suspicion... I think it must come from a place of caring, right?

Gavin: You're quite funny, Blaine. And very attractive.

Gavin: But that's really just because I dislike that actor.

Gavin: I was surprised the app threw a party... Perhaps they'll respond to the success of the first by throwing another. I think I'll be far less nervous then.

Gavin: You're right though. There is always meeting up. If you ever want a movie watching buddy or something, I'm up for that.

Gavin: If they were just desperate to kill someone off in the film, I meant. Not that I was happy with any death at all, but Jayne would have been my choice.

Gavin: Could be an interesting party... Valentine's Day with the same people. Perhaps we'll see people we saw before, but in new configurations... Coupled up. If they threw parties throughout the year, you could watch couples get together, break up, or stay together.

Gavin: I'm free on weekends and most nights. Have I ever asked what you do for a living?

Kurt: It still felt good to hear that.

Kurt: Yes. I mean. I’d love for it to be possible. He’s really the greatest guy. I’m just not sure it’d work from a couple thousand miles away.

Gav: If that think so is for Davlin being a sweetheart, I absolutely do, but then... I've spent quite a lot of time with him. Blaine's a lovely guy, and he doesn't deserve that. It's true. I think the same of you... That you're lovely and don't deserve heartbreak either.

Gav: I can understand that. One of the only break-ups I've experienced was partly over distance. I was moving back to California from London, and I couldn't imagine trying to make that work, though my circumstances were slightly different, I think. Have you done a long distance thing before?

HUNTER: I'm glad you appreciate that of me. The truth may be brutal, but I prefer it over anything else, any day.

HUNTER: How humble of you. I would say I'd do it just to show of my muscles. It's California College of the Arts.

HUNTER: Good for you.

HUNTER: I can definitely relate. It's a nice situation to be in, I believe. There's nothing quite like being sexually compatible with someone.

Gavin: Well, if we are to become friends, and I think we're getting along quite well, you can trust that I will always be honest with you. Completely so.

Gavin: I *am* especially fond of my abs. And that's definitely not where I teach, so I feel good about this. Have you posed for these classes before?

Gavin: Are you in a similar situation? The sexual compatibility is off the charts. We're very in sync. It was a pleasant surprise, definitely.

Gavin: I find it refreshing. While humility is a trait I admire in some people, I prefer honesty... I like about you that you'd tell me if I was full of shit.

Gavin: I do... In the interest of helping artists, but also because a little extra cash never hurt anyone. What school is this? I should probably know, just on the off chance it's the school I teach at.

Gavin: It was, and I don't regret the decision to stop.

Gavin: Something sexual, though I do wonder if it could ever become romantic one day. I'm not used to having someone I have sex with, but also just spend quite a bit of time talking to. It's lovely.

HUNTER: Interesting. Not everyone feels comfortable enough with themselves to do that. Did you like it?

HUNTER: What sort of art gallery do they work at?

Gavin: I think that's accurate... absolutely.

Gavin: I did like it. I'd do it again if anyone asked, and perhaps with less giggling and movement on my part. I don't drink anymore.

Gavin: It's... I'm trying to remember the name of it, but I know that it involves appraisals and sales.

Gavin: It would have been very tricky, London to Berkeley. And I knew I was going to be distracted. I cared for him, but my family had to come first.

Gavin: Nude. I think the friend who asked chose me because he knew I wouldn't be shy about that.

Gavin: A friend works at an art gallery and sees plenty of people who enjoy art, so I'm happy to see there's an audience for what you do too.

Gavin: It's something you are or aren't. It's not a choice I've made for my life... Though I have moments when I allow myself to wallow instead.

Gavin: I had to move back to the United States to care for a dying relative, and I knew that I wouldn't be able to focus on a long distance relationship at the same time.

Gavin: That's very kind of them. I actually modeled for one of those once, though I was slightly drunk. I can't have been the most still model.

Gavin: It's funny... I've always thought of art as a necessity, for history and as a commentary on what's happening right now as well.

HUNTER: Good question. But it's moot because I would tell someone why I broke up with them, when I'm actually breaking up with them.

HUNTER: I've sat in on some classes from the college I graduated from.

HUNTER: Apologies not needed. I don't have many people to speak about it to.

Gavin: I respect that about you. When the break-up happened, it was mutual. I was very clear about why I wanted to do it. I think that's the right way to be.

Gavin: Does your school have... Oh, what are those called? Life Drawing Classes. Is that the term?

Gavin: That's a shame. More people should be interested in art, I feel. It's an important thing, even when people don't recognize the impact it can have.

Gavin: I've been in that same same old boat you are. Work is what it is. I go out and meet people when I get the chance, spend my nights grading papers if I'm alone. Very much what you'd expect the life of a teacher to be, I imagine.

Gavin: Where do you find subjects for that particular work?

Gavin: Also, apologies for so many questions about art... I'm just incredibly interested in that line of work.
