First doodle I started to experiment with in Rebelle. I've had a lot of fun in the program since then, and even created some very detailed commissions in it. This picture was to explore what it could do, and have some fun imagining what a semi-iridescent face would look on my character Zhi.

Muutosuuwa are mysterious creatures. Often mistaken for a solitary celestial being, they travel across the universe with a curiosity that can end in benevolence or misfortune for whomever crosses their path. In historical documents and images, their bodies are somewhat described the same way, but their faces always change. It seems that they prefer to adjust their faces to mirror whichever race or species they interact with. While words of truth or lies may pour from their lips, they never will meet your gaze, for the biggest lie sits behind their eyelids. You see, they have no eyes at all.

New Project: Lucky Cats

As an artist that likes to challenge myself with art, I'm happy to say that a little project that I've been chipping away at this year will be up for people to enjoy quite soon, so stay tuned!

Update

It's been a while, I wish it wasn't so, but I've been caught up in a lot of different things and life's gotten away on me.

Still, after many months, I'm getting back to some personal projects. I'd like to say that it's going flawlessly, as if I never left them alone, but it feels more like coming back to a language I remember being good at and I've now forgotten half of the words. This is just the creative process for people with challenges of making time for their art I suppose.

So for anyone who's feeling that good old imposter syndrome, feeling like they're just not capable, I get you. Cheers to ignoring that feeling and moving forward.
