Introduction!

Hello! Welcome to my blog!

I'm Avery, 18 year old assistant to Professor Poplar, a newer professor in the Galar region! He's also my dad. I use they/them pronouns!

I took the STEM track at Naranja Academy, so I like to think I'm pretty smart! I do enjoy a little mischief from time to time, too!

My Pokemon are as follows: -Motor the Rotom -Oberon the Sylveon -Hero the Gallade -Squishy the Goomy

hello! im Hallow, and i run this blog! there are some important rules to my roleplay and worldbuilding that i want to establish before this blog really gets going.

Roleplay rules:

-dont be weird to Avery. seriously, sexually charged messages will be blocked.

-Avery uses exclusively they/them pronouns. if you misgender them youre getting ignored, sorry.

Worldbuilding rules:

-Pokemon cant talk. some can mimic, and rotom can message through a screen, but full human speech isnt possible.

-catching a legendary is nearly impossible and also subject to a lot of legal nonsense.

other than the amount of regions ive traveled with my dad, i think my life has been pretty normal? i dont think ive ever even seen a legendary before.

oh, and i guess theres the fact that i just sort of showed up on my dad's doorstep with no memories when i was six, and he adopted me, but thats not that important.

It's wild that the people who have not seen a legendary Pokémon are somehow a minority on here?? like . I don't think I even know anybody irl who has seen one with their own eyes, why is everyone here somehow coming into contact with actual gods

i have no idea. personally a dream for me though is to see Mew. all the documentation on it makes it seem like a little gremlin and i love it though. maybe someday, but probably not.

was talking to someone online about meowth and they were like "oh i love their short beige fur" and i was like "no its long and grey" and we argued for like two minutes before remembering that. there are three variations of meowth. and we realized we were not from the same regions.

anyways i may be stupid. ive seen kantonian meowth before. theyre everywhere in paldea. why am i like this

i liked Jacq! i liked filling out the Pokedex so i enjoyed doing that for him. also he sorta reminded me of my dad lol

Professor Poplar studies Pokemon ecosystems and habitats! it means i get to travel regions a lot to study various different ecosystems. its really cool! my favorite region ive been to is probably Paldea, though. thats where i went to school!
