PROFILES host Mickey Burns interviews dance divas Martha Wash, Ce Ce Peniston, Taylor Dayne and Samantha Fox Singer Martha Wash perhaps best known for her 1982 mega hit "It's Raining Men" that she recorded with "The Weather Girls." The hit is still being played on radio stations to this day and was nominated for a Grammy in 1982. Because so many of Martha's recordings were dance hits - she's often referred to as "The Queen of Club Land." Ce Ce Peniston is a former beauty queen turned singer. Much of her success came in the 90s, having five major club hits in the span of three years. Her signature song, "Finally" sold three million copies worldwide. After taking a 15 year break from recording, Peniston is back and releasing new singles today. When multi-platinum recording artist Taylor Dayne signed with Arista Records in 1987, she became an international star. Dayne's first seven singles hit the top ten on the Billboard charts. Her first song was the dance-pop hit, "Tell It to My Heart," which was an instant smash worldwide. Mega hits such as "Don't Rush Me," and "Love Will Lead You Back," followed. British recording artist Samantha Fox began her career modeling at 16 years-old and would evolve to become England's most popular pin-up girl of all time. In 1986, she launched her music career with her debut single, "Touch Me," which would become a number #1 hit in 17 countries. Since then, Fox has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.

PROFILES host Mickey Burns interviews Broadway and country music's rising star Laura Bell Bundy. Bundy starred in Broadway's mega-hit musical "Legally Blonde" in the lead role as Elle Woods which led to a Tony nomination for "Best Leading Actress in a Musical." On top of being an actress and singer, she has also branched out to purse designer, her signature purse color? In the spirit of Elle Woods - pink! Bundy also talks about her debut album, "Longing for a Place Already Gone." Bundy wrote or co-wrote most of the album which has a heavy country influence - no doubt from her roots growing up in Lexington, Kentucky. As one critic said of Bundy, "This is a girl who has the elegance and timeless look of a Marilyn Monroe and Bridgette Bardot, with the bit and edge of a Gwen Stefani." Bundy is both classic and new, and that is what makes an "it" girl tick.

PROFILES host Mickey Burns interviews Sam Moore, lead singer of one of the most successful duo's in Rock 'N Roll History - "Sam & Dave." Best remembered for their classic hits such as "Soul Man" and "Hold On, I'm Coming." Back in 1967 Sam & Dave recorded "When Something Is Wrong With My Baby," the song became a huge hit - as did their record label "Stax Records" in Memphis, Tennessee. Sam Moore would join Otis Redding, Isaac Hayes, and Carla Thomas at Stax. They would go on to produce tons of hits. Nicknamed "Double Dynamite" for their explosive stage act - Sam & Dave were one of the hottest acts in the 60s. However interest in their music would re-emerge in the 80s with the movie release of "Blue Brothers" that featured their hit song "Soul Man." Sam & Dave would later be elected into the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame in 1992. Today, Sam Moore shows no signs of slowing down - as he continues to tour all over the world.

PROFILES host Mickey Burns interviews singer and actress Lulu, who has carved out a show business career that few can rival. She's worked with the likes of the "The Beatles," "The Rolling Stones," and "Tom Jones" and has produced hit records over her accomplished career. Back in the late 60s, Lulu starred in the films, "To Sir, With Love," opposite the great Sidney Poitier, she also performed the title song to the film which rose to number one on the charts. In the 70s she sang the theme song to the James Bond film "The Man with the Golden Gun." Lulu began her singing career at the age of 15, six decades later she's still going strong with concerts and television appearances. Among her many talents, Lulu is also an accomplished songwriter. In the 80s she wrote, "I Don't Wanna Fight" performed by Tina Turner on her hit soundtrack "What's Love Got to Do With It." Lulu has always possessed one of those voices that jumps out of the radio and grabs you and has stood the test of time.

PROFILES host Mickey Burns interviews film, theatre and television actress Estelle Parsons. In the late 60's Estelle won an Oscar as best supporting actress in "Bonnie and Clyde" which also starred Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway and Gene Hackman. One year later Parsons earned a second Oscar nomination playing a religious fanatic in Paul Newman's "Rachel, Rachel". Estelle Parsons began her show business career in television and holds the distinction of being the first female political reporter on network television when she was hired by "The Today Show" in the 50's. A native of Massachusetts, Estelle Parsons originally studied to be a lawyer, and it was her background in law that attracted NBC to hire her right out of college. While at NBC she was one of eight people to put together the template for the original "Today Show" in the 50's. In the 90's she would again find success on TV playing Roseanne Arnold's screechy lunatic mother on "Roseanne" for a ten year period. Today, as Estelle Parsons enters her fifth decade in show business, she continues to be a much sought after actress, especially on stage. She also finds time to teach acting at Yale and Columbia Universities and serves as Artistic Director of the Actor's Studio.

PROFILES host Mickey Burns interviews comedian and impressionist Frank Caliendo, known for his spot on impressions of NFL commentator John Madden, Charles Barkley, Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, Al Pacino and many, many more. In 2007 and 2008, he performed his impersonations on his own show, "Frank TV," which aired on TBS. He also was featured for many seasons on Fox's "MADtv" and "Fox NFL Sunday." He has released six solo CDs, and has performed as many as 120 impressions and currently tours.

PROFILES host Mickey Burns interviews 7-time award winning actor Ed Asner. Back in the 70s Asner won three of those Emmys for his role of Lou Grant on the highly successful "Mary Tyler Moore" show. He would go on to win two more Emmys playing the same character a few years later on his critically acclaimed dramatic series, "Lou Grant." A native of Kansas City, Kansas - Ed Asner hit New York City running in the 50s and never looked back. His association with Mary Tyler Moore actually began when they were both cast for a 1969 Elvis Presley movie titled "Change of Habit." The following year casting for the Mary Tyler Moore show was initiated and the rest as they say is history. Ed Asner also served as President of the Screen Actors Guild back in the 80s. Asner has also been considered one of the most political activists in Hollywood. Today, he's continued success with roles in movies such as "Elf" and Pixar's Academy Award winning film "Up" and numerous gust starring roles on various television shows.

PROFILES host Mickey Burns interviews Grammy Award Winning Composer Mateo Messina, who has scored nine films, two documentaries and two television shows in the past two years. His style, most evident in the score of the smash hits "Juno," "Up in the Air" and "Young Adult" is often mimicked, but he continues to mine new ground. His haunting sound has made Mateo one of the industry's most sought after talents. Mateo Messina and his team have been delivering critically acclaimed scores for the past decade. His signature sound can be heard in a number of Oscar Winning movies and independent film hits. As one of today's most innovative composers since the age of twenty-three, Messina has also written, produced and premiered fifteen symphonies. He has dedicated the premiere of each symphony to raising money for Seattle's Children's Hospital, bringing in more than one million dollars to date. Today, Mateo Messina continues to be one of Hollywood's most popular and innovative composers for film and television.

PROFILES host Mickey Burns interviews Broadway star and Tony award winner Victoria Clark. Clark may be best known for her award-winning performance as Margaret Johnson in "The Light in the Piazza" and was recently nominated for her second Tony playing Mother Superior in "Sister Act." Currently she's starring as The Fairy Godmother in the revival of Rogers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella." Victoria began her love affair with the theatre as a child growing up in Dallas, Texas. She made her Broadway debut in 1985 and has been a Broadway regular ever since. Her voice can be heard on numerous cast albums and animated feature soundtracks. She also came out with her own solo album titled, "Fifteen Seconds of Grace."

PROFILES host Mickey Burns interviews the late legendary soul singer and Rock N Roll Hall of Fame inductee Isaac Hayes. Isaac first reached superstar status back in the early 70s when his score to "Shaft" nailed the awards triple crown: taking an Oscar, two Grammys, and a Golden Globe award. Back in the mid-60s Hayes began his musical career at Stax Records in Memphis - where he co-wrote over 200 songs for such legendary artists as Otis Redding and Sam and Dave. He later would become well-known for playing the role of "Chef" on the hit animated show "South Park," and his best-selling book "Cooking with Heart and Soul."

He first became famous for his roles in such films as: "The Heartbreak Kid," "Taking Care of Business" and "Ishtar." An Award winning actor, in the 90s Grodin's popularity soared for his role as George Newton in the John Hughes comedy franchise "Beethoven." Over his illustrious career, Charles Grodin has been a favorite guest on the talk show circuit dating back to his numerous appearances with Johnny Carson. Grodin is currently celebrating the release of his new DVD titled: "The Perils of Show Business: Proceed At Your Own Risk." In the DVD Grodin offers advice to actors aspiring for a career in show business. Besides his accomplished work on stage and screen, Grodin is also an author of several successful books - he is one of the best storytellers around. Additionally, several years ago he started a charitable organization called "The Lend a Hand Foundation." It's mission is to help people in dire need. A show business veteran of over five decades, Al Martino had earned super-star status - first as a recording artist, and later in his career as an actor in such films as "The Godfather" where he played the outstanding role of Johnny Fontaine. As a singer - Al Martino had won numerous gold records for such hits as "Spanish Eyes," and "Volare," and sung the title song from "The Godfather" titled "Speak Softly Love" which would go on to be one of his big hits. Later in his career Martino continued to perform to sold-out audiences worldwide. He was enthusiastic about performing in his later years as he was back in his hometown of Philadelphia back in the 50s. He will forever be remembered as "one of the great Italian American pop crooners."

PROFILES host Mickey Burns interviews the late veteran actor Ben Gazzara. Over the past five decade Gazzara had starred in over 100 feature films. This along with many memorable appearances in the theatre and television have made him one of the most acclaimed actors of our time. In the late 70s Gazzara made a series of ground-breaking innovative movies with John Cassavetes which included, "Husbands," "Killing of a Chinese Bookie," and "Opening Night." These movies helped launch today's independent film industry. Over his illustrious career Gazzara had received six Emmy nominations, winning in 2003 as outstanding supporting actor in the HBO mini-series, "Hysterical Blindness." Gazzara added author to his list of credit with the release of, "In the Moment: My Life as an Actor," a memoir of his more than 50 years in film, theatre and television.

Walker earned consensus All-American honors for three consecutive years, and capped a sensational college career by earning the 1982 Heisman Trophy in his junior year at the University of Georgia. Walker spent twelve years in the NFL, where he rushed for more than 8,000 yards and scored sixty-one rushing touchdowns. He recently stunned the sports community with his book titled: "Breaking Free", which chronicles his life in dealing with Multiple Personality Disorder.
