Been depressed for years. Now I actually found someone who cares and is afraid of losing me. Is this really real

I'm crying. 😢 My heart is so overwhelmed. I didn't think that some people actually do care about you. I broke down to her today, and for a long time I felt so much comfort to just let it out. I didn't tell her anything, but she knew right away that something was off just by looking at my face. She told me how much I meant to her, I guess that was just what I needed to hear. We sometimes need to hear it because we tend to forget. She freakin showed me some heart and some love that I wasn't expecting. Yes, people will let you down. People will disappoint you. A lot of people are gonna hurt you, and use you for the wrong intentions. People are gonna give up, and leave. But on the brighter picture, there will also be people who are gonna lift you up, and help you build yourself back together. Those people are gonna challenge you, motivate you, and make you stronger. I kinda lost it today, and I thought I had nobody. But I was wrong. I am grateful for friends who are in my life, friends who care for my well-being, and friends who stuck around and supported me when I couldn't. I owe you my life. I found a reason to keep going.
