About + Rules

Hi and welcome to prog-rock-confessions!! This blog is where you can submit a confession through an ask and we’ll make a shitty graphic to go with it! You can also specify an image you’d like to use in your confession if you’d like. We post 1 confession every day or so (if we receive them.)

PLEASE READ: We’re very lenient and we love submissions, but take some time to read these quick and important rules, as well as look at any tags you may wanna blacklist.

- First of all, ensure that a progressive rock band/progressive rock is mentioned somewhere in your ask. For example, the Beatles, David Bowie, and Janis Joplin are not progressive rock (a few examples we’ve gotten). We include a lot of different bands though, many on the “fringe of prog”, so don't be afraid to submit a band you're not sure about.

- We don’t post straight up hate towards any musicians or fans of certain musicians. We accept venting and all that but this is a bully-free zone. More vent-heavy posts are tagged ‘prog tea’.

- Any shipping real life people will be tagged as ‘prog ships’. We don’t use NSFW images. Any NSFW text will be tagged ‘rated x’.

- We don’t post jokes or rude things about someone's drug or alcohol use. Confessions that mention drugs in some way are tagged as ‘drugs mention’.

- Confessing on anon is cool, confessing off-anon is cool too. However, we no longer provide credit to whoever sent the ask. We can also turn off reblogs for your confession, just ask. If you want your confession deleted, just send us an ask.

- Finally, please note that these confessions do not represent the opinions of the mods. Send us an ask or message if you have any questions or concerns.
