Submission Rules (Closed)

❥ Submissions will be sent through the ask box! Please include both the name of the song and the producer (links not required but are helpful)

❥ Please avoid repeating songs! You can see who has been posted by looking through the list of featured songs or our YouTube playlist.

❥ Original songs only please! No covers, even if they're by other vocal synths or are super iconic.

❥ When submitting multiple songs, PLEASE SEND EACH AS A SEPARATE ASK! Makes it easier to organize :)

❥ 3 songs max! I can't REALLY enforce this, but I'd appreciate if y'all would be courteous regardless ;; ❥ Feel free to add commentary with your ask! I'll post it along with the results and credit you (either with your @ or as anon)

I typically write little blurbs when posting the results, so if you'd like to add something when submitting the song, feel free to include it in your ask! I will credit any contributions (or just anonymously thank you) but this is completely optional and in no way required for submission! It's just something extra you can do for fun if you wish :)

WELCOME MORTALS.....

TO THE 2023 DIVNE SWAG SUMMIT!!!!!

I’ve been following a lot of other tournament accounts lately and noticed that I haven’t seen anyone make one for fictional deities, so I decided to make one myself! Shoutout to @mad-scientist-showdown @autismswagsummit @gotalittletoosilly and @falseprophetpoll specifically for inspiring me to make this tournament! Now then, my knowledge of fictional gods is.... severely limited, so I’m opening up submissions!

Before you submit, here are some rules to follow:

You can submit multiple characters, but please dont submit one character multiple times!

No gods from real life! Sorry Hades fans :(

The character does not have to specifically be referred to as a god in canon, demons, cosmic beings and other entities powerful enough to either have a significant effect on reality and/or be worshipped/feared by a group of people count as well! Examples of non-god beings that would count:

Bill Cipher(Gravity Falls)

The Collector(The Owl House)

The Lich(Adventure Time)

The Krang(Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)

Jade Harley(Homestuck)

I’ll be closing submissions on March 11th at Noon EST, so get your all-powerful blorbos in!

submission must include character name and franchise! (a picture also helps!)

character cannot have been submitted before, check tags to see if they've already been submitted!

if the character does not physically have the means to attempt to use a tin opener (for example they don't have hands or are a ghost), imagine that they are able to anyway.

I will probably add more rules as and when I feel I need to, but here we are for now!

No, it doesn't even have to be a child if they've got enough baby vibes. But that is very subjective and up to me so they may not get posted. But this blog is obviously not that serious

First though: Ground rules.

If any rules are broken in the ask your ask will be deleted. Read carefully.

Send them through the Inbox or Submissions. If you send through Submissions tag your post appropriately the best you can.

Nothing about government politics. I don't want manhunts over people political aligents or for people to stay tying to use this space to encourage bigotry. This blogs meant to be fun and possibly so people can find blogs with people like them! -Ex:"Like if you voted for Biden!" or "Like if you think Immigrants should stay home."

No troll/rage bait post.

Format it just like the ones I have. "Like this post if you ___./!" This also means only 1 thing per ask.

You can send in multiple, but try not to come in and just spam me with 5+ a bunch of times. You can send in one or two a day though that should give me time to tag and queue em up. I don't want the inbox to get overwhelming. (Though no matter what, there may be closing of the Inbox if I get a lot. I don't want to overwhelm myself.)

The thing you put in doesn't have to apply personally to you. You can just want to see likes go up on a topic.

No sexual nsfw... maybe I'll make a blog for that tho If any of you do tag me I wanna seeeeee.

Drug and Alcohol ones can be there if they aren't encouraging explicit self harm. They will be tagged #cw drugs #cw alcohol .

No other ask that encourage self harm either. We promote fun and safety here.

None that encourage Bullying/Harassment/Punching Down at others.

Now less of rules and more outlines:

If you submit off anon I'll tag it with your username.

If you submit on anon, you can use an emoji sign off. I'll add it to your ask and link it in this post tags so you can find yours.

Only do an emoji tag if you'll be back to send others though. If an emoji tag goes unused for a long enough time (3 months) it'll be deleted.

No inside jokes that aren't like, tumblr wide. Because those won't get any likes and I don't know how to tag them.
