*He huffs and sits down at his desk,* "I give it five minutes tops til one of them is in here.."

*Not even five minutes later, a quite young looking orange steve comes into the room. He pulls over a chair and sits next to Gen. He, somehow, doesn't notice Time.*
*Time is still spinning in the chair.*
*Mech pauses when he sees Time, before smiling,* "Oh, hello! Who are you?" *He tilts his head.*
*His tail wraps around the lower part of the chair so it stops. He shakes his head a little, slightly dizzy.*
Oh! I'm Time Steve!
*He walks over to Time, eyeing him curiously,* "Well, it's nice to meetcha, Time! I'm Mech!" *He puts out one of his robotic hands for a handshake.*
*He smiles, shaking his hand.*
Nice to meet you too!
*His mechanical fingers harshly twitch as he shakes Time's hand. His smile is warm, but the look in his eyes makes it feel like he's analyzing Time..*
*He still smiles.*

*Before Gen can stop him, Mech starts rambling,* "Oh, we're scientists working on the Hybridization Project! I'm the mechanic and engineer!"
Hm? Hybridization project?
*Mech deeply inhales, before rambling more,* "Yeah, the Hybridization Project! It's a set of experiments where the Directors use genetic splicing and alteration to try to make hybrids for various uses!"

*He scratches his chin, his hand noticeably more indigo-toned than his neck.*
*Mech reaches out and grabs Time's wrist, examining his hand.*
*Compared to what's visible elsewhere, his hand is like a faded out indigo tone. Not unlike an Indigo Steve, but a bit washed-out. Besides all the jewelry, he has several small white star marks, almost like freckles, on the back of his hand. He has long, curved claws, and soft fur.*
*He examines his hand for another moment before looking back at Gen,* "Hey, Gen? Can I borrow a syringe?"
*Gen, not even looking up from his paperwork, responds,* "Yeah, sure, whatever. Don't break it."
*He just laughs a little, not trying to pull away from his grasp.*
*He grabs an empty syringe,* "May i take a blood sample...? I've never met someone like you before.."
*He shrugs.*

*He takes a blood sample before putting the syringe aside.* "Thank you!"
