I keep going back to reread PHM and all my wips/personal projects rn are just redrawing my favorite parts

their designs from the book and the movie have just merged for me atp... drawing them both is becoming second nature to me sobs

i know rocky still technically got to play with the measuring tape in the movie but the way it happened in the book always makes me smile when I read it. :]

Underrated scene from the book is where Dubois and Shapiro die, Grace reasonably starts crying saying "Our friends just died!" (the use of "our" is so good in my opinion) and Stratt literally slaps him and tells him to "Snap out of it!" and get a list of replacements.

#to be fair she says “we ALL will die if we don't find someone else” and then slaps him when he starts crying more but uhhh yeah#dare i say this is one of the moments we see stratt show the most emotion ever#and she channeled that immediately into anger because they don't have time to be sad!! they need replacements!!#she needs to be as efficient as possible and sitting around crying about it isn't going to help!!#but also. don't hit the guy stratt give him a damn second.#it hurts so good okay. this whole sequence.
