Party time
@fairytarotcards
While Kou wasn’t normally one to attend parties, especially ones on campus, Kou found herself frequently being asked to attend a few, eventually she gave in and accepted an invitation to go. At first she planning to lie and just not go and use an excuse that work needed her right away, but it seems that was out of the question since one of the attendees made a point to walk her to the party themselves. Well now here she was, at the so called ‘party’ with energy drink in hand, Kou looked over the people attending and couldn’t help but try to relate some of them to her coworkers, perhaps then it would be easier to talk to them. Sadly this was more difficult than she once thought, trying to relate them to her co-workers only made talking to anyone that much harder since a new fear of calling them by the wrong name popped into Kou’s head.
“Urg...where’s Aboa when you need her...She’d make this much more interesting.” Kou gave a soft sigh as she leaned against the wall near the window lifting the drink to her mouth and sipping it, Kou soon enough averted her gaze from the party to look out the window and over the city. Despite being in what seemed like a run down building to her it had a pretty good view of the entire city, it kind of made Kou jealous that she decided to stay at her apartment rather than get a dorm room. Kou simply looked over the city and sights it contained until a loud voice boomed over the odd music that had been playing, needless to say it startled Kou enough to force her to turn and spill a bit of her drink onto her black shirt. “Wh-What on earth?”
There was always someone like that at parties that were failing to be entertaining, someone that was way too social for their own good, someone that always insisted on stepping it up a notch and wanting to liven the party. Thankfully that might mean there was a hope that the party might actually become entertaining to Kou, probably not though, there was no doubt in Kou’s mind that whatever this person was planning didn’t involve her, no, Kou was hoping that it didn’t involve her, the last thing she needed right now was to be concerned with livening a party. With how Kou normally acted it was plain to see why people would think she would be a social person, but honestly Kou wanted to avoid people, at least these people, hence why she was standing next the window, alone.
