Married [Kakashi x Reader] Headcanons/Oneshot style
Note: SFW | It was suppose to be domestic life but I got carried away regarding the house | I accidentally deleted this when I was almost finished. I cried inside.
đYou both moved into the Hatake compound right after your wedding from your shared apartment. Since Kakashi hasnât lived there since he was a kid, the house was basically deteriorating but you were still thankful it stood after all the destruction that occurred in Konoha. You spent most days fixing the place up together. On days Kakashi was busy with hokage duties, he would ask Yamato to fill in who was more than happy to help on some wood work for his senpai and you.
đSince youâve been working diligently on repairing and redesigning the house, it was normal for Kakashi to arrive home and see you hunched over a piece of furniture or laying on a floor of a room youâve been working on. Heâd easily just wipe the dirt off you and carry you to the bedroom, the first room you both finished working on, with a kiss on the head before joining you.
đItâs no surprise thereâs one room youâve both been avoiding: Sakumoâs study. You didnât know how to tell him that the rest of the house was almost done and it should be about time to enter that one too. One day he noticed you staring at the room and decided it was time.
đYou watch your husband open the sliding doors and stale air immediately hit your nose. Kakashi stood at the entrance for a while before turning to you in a nonverbal communication that he needed a moment. You nodded and made your way to fix up the garden, but not before hearing the doors sliding close with your husband inside.
đBy the time Kakashi came out, it was already dinner, right when you finished cooking. He didnât say anything but you understood enough and gave him a hug with his meal. That night, he holds you a little bit tighter and you brush your palm against his back a little bit longer than usual before you both fall asleep.
đThe next morning during breakfast, Kakashi tells you you can do whatever you want with the room and expressed that although he has resolved his internal turmoil with his father, the remaining childhood trauma makes the room too uncomfortable for him.
đâYou can make it your library or a walk-in-closet to fit all your shopping, itâs fine with me.â He tells you almost too cheerfully. You tell him thereâs already a library in the house and that your closet is fine but to, âleave everything to me!â before he leaves for the hokage office.
đAfter discussing with Yamato, you both set to work, eager to finish before the copy-nin arrived home that evening. Kakashi definitely did not expect you to get to work immediately when he gave you the reigns that day for the room so when he finally did arrive, itâs an understatement to say he was surprised to see that the room was no longer, well, a room.
đThe walls had been completely torn off to give a view of the garden you were working on the other day. The floorboards were replaced with a glossy dark wood that reflected the sunlight that filtered through the trees outside. Before his feet were pillows, the kind to sit or kneel on. But most importantly, pushed against one wall was an altar, not at all extravagant but neither simple, with a framed photograph of Sakumo Hatake.
đYou were pretty nervous since you werenât sure if he agreed on this, âwhat if he wanted to completely forget about it?â but the desire to surprise him overcame you. Besides, Yamato said it was a good idea. You walked towards him, unsure, and held out two incense sticks, waiting for his reaction.
đHe takes the incense sticks from you and to your surprise, wraps his arms around you with his face on your neck. âThank you... This was better than I had hoped for.â
đYou take your own incense sticks and together, lit a prayer for your father-in-law
đIn the next few years after, an Obito Hatake would come running in the Hatake Compound. You would be working in the garden with Yamato, having found a hobby, and youâd point to the freshly-picked flowers next to you and tell your son to take them to his grandfather. Obito would enter the altar room where heâd find his father, heâd offer the flowers before finally sitting down next to his dad to talk about his day at the academy. All the Hatake men will listen.
Hey, friends! Iâm moving blogs to @aprosperlys so check it out :). This account will no longer be active. New content will be posted there
rqst: hope it makes sense! but he what if gojo had a lover who he accidentally turned into a curse when he rejected her death sort of like yuta did but bc heâs stronger she absorbs enough of his energy to make her a special grade but she doesnât remember him :( and just likes killing but he canât bring herself to exorcise her so he lets her do some of his curse missions just so she gets her fill and not go after ppl. basically pain all around. craving some angst in this chilis tonight
a/n: i did what i could! hope it meets your expectations.Â
he should have just killed it. put you both out of misery.
your spirit- the same part of you still drifting somewhere in the abyss, must hate him. he despised himself for putting you through this- making you this monster.
fate was cruel to him. making this curse into your image: your smile, voice and even some of your mannerisms but ripping away anything that tied it to him in memory. the only thing that kept it close was that intrinsic bond that tethered them together.
he made the mistake of calling it by your name too many times, ignorant enough to think that he could somehow bring you to the surface. it was you after all, born from the ashes of your death. in the end, heâd only made the noose around his neck. it built on his frustrations, learning lyrics of manipulation that they sang in his ear whenever he thought about killing it for good.
a/n: this will be a slow pet project for me. iâve outlined what i want to accomplish so weâll see if i can manage to meet my own goals. thank you for all the interest!Â
the ability to be lured out with food was dangerous- for her.Â
likely for humans too, for those who may have fallen for her charms. but aside from milking them dry she didnât seem to have any ill intents. rather didnât know what to do with them or why she should bother.Â
An illustration inspired by @cherrymintedâs kakasaku comic, which can be seen [here]. The flowers are very specifically sakura flowers, but it is open to interpretation if you like.
Yeah weâve heard of mask kisses but what about NOSE BOOPS with his mask on
Because tbh idk if you guys have kissed anyone with a mask on but itâs kinda weird and I feel its more likely to happen if Kakashi was too in the moment with his darling that he forgot to pull it down
So instead,,, darling tiptoes and boops noses with a âboopâ sound and Kakashi starts feeling really warm. It really fuels his day.
Additionally, since Kakashi isnât the type for public displays of affection, this might be an exception for him. Of course youâre the one usually initiating it
Everyone is born with a timer counting down on their wrist.
Some are born with minutes on their clock. Some with days. Some are born with years. The fourth hokage was known to have about a decade on his watch until he met the Red Hot-Blooded Habanero.
Everyone knows that when your clock reaches zero, youâll find your soulmate in front of you, with eyes locked on your own.
Kakashi covered his wrist, as much as possible, he avoided looking at it. He couldnât understand the hype given to these timers. Much more, he couldnât imagine himself falling in love. No amount of Icha-Icha novels could prepare him for the feeling, in fact, this might explain his obsession for them. These fluttery feelings he would hear from Kurenai when Asuma was beginning to show more than just platonic interest knowing both their timers had hit zero when they met at the academy, the same phenomenon he observes in Sakura as she fawns over Sasukeâs every move knowing they were already fated, were just too foreign for him.
He tries to think back, maybe he would find something similar to it.
He tries to remember the feeling of being carried on Sakumoâs back as he burrows his head with his childhood green scarf, weary after a whole day of training and playing with the other neighborhood kids. His father humming and talking to his quiet five-year-old self.
Kakashi shook his head.
Itâs been too long and besides, any memory of his father eventually led to images of blood stains on the wooden floor of the Hatake compound, now long abandoned. And these images lead to the bubbling anger that he has suppressed for years from a broken promise: being there for each other, the moment his mother died from childbirth. The promise was unspoken, but repeated and repeated until the day he saw his father polishing the Hatake blade before he left for school.
He doubt thatâs the same feeling this timer represents.
He tries to remember Minato-sensei carrying him away after finding him frozen, staring down at his self-impaled father for hours. All his senses, for once, numb until Kushina covered him with a blanket and gave him a bowl of ramen to eat on the dinner table. He can still remember their soft expressions providing him comfort as they ate together. Just the three of them.
And then came Obito and Rin. Oh Kami. Obito and Rin who were childhood friends way before they met Kakashi. Who had their timers on zero and they were never sure why but were too happy-go-lucky to care.
He wonders if Obitoâs non-shinobi-like habits and the arguments that followed would be the same playful banter he sees between couples because he would be lying to say he didnât enjoy them, or missed them wholeheartedly. He can almost feel Rinâs fingers brushing against his injuries, some still aching to this day, and wonders if itâs the same desire of touch lovers feel.
But he knows itâs all wrong. Eventually, Minato and Kushinaâs soft expressions turn into worried expressions as he pushes himself into isolation and depression until their deaths, impaled by Kurama. Remembering banters with Obito becomes an echo of the last fight they had before the Uchiha went off to save Rin. Remembering medic-ninja peacemaker, Rin and her touches, reminds him of the blood that covered his chidori-fueled fist.
So no. Kakashi does not know what love feels like. He felt his heart race when the scent of rust had hit his nose as soon as he opened the Hatake compound doors. He felt his palms sweat when he saw Minato and Kushina approaching him for a serious talk on his wellbeing, where he would lie. He felt the flutters in his stomach when the blood on his hand would not wash away despite it being years after her death â and the eye that was not his would sit uncomfortably in the socket of his brain.
Kakashi covered his wrist, because as far as he knows, love was shit and the timer was something to dread. He did not want it to hit zero. Anyways, The Fourth Great Shinobi War waits for no one. There he stood, a general people were relying on to defeat these white mutations. He has sacrificed so much that he himself felt like a sacrificial offering to whatever shinobi god was up there. So maybe it was with this thought that he allowed himself to hook one finger up his sleeve and slide it up to see his time.
00:00:00:00:07:00
Years. Months. Days. Hours. Minutes. Seconds.
Kakashi looked straight ahead and began to run up the trees, followed by several other shinobis as the white Zetsus began to appear in the distance. Now was not the time for such thoughts, or feelings. He could feel the familiar licking of electricity on his arm as he charged up.
00:00:00:00:06:00
Shinobi of all nations collided with the enemy and all sorts of jutsus were thrown. Kakashi regulated his breathing and tried to concentrate, ignoring the earth-shattering ticking of his subconscious.
00:00:00:00:05:00
Kakashi threw a kunai into the closest white Zetsu charging at him with such strength that the kunai pushed through it.
A warmth unparalleled by the sun that would greet him when he opens the Hatake compound doors.
00:00:00:00:04:00
He fired up the chakra at his fists until he was sure his punches felt like thunder.
A gentle face that would drape a blanket and give him ramen on his worst days.
00:00:00:00:03:00
Kakashi dodged an attack before slamming the enemy with a raikiri through itâs chest.
A conversation and a small touch that would make him feel more alive than any battle he has fought.
00:00:00:00:02:00
From the corner of his eye, he sees it. A flash of (h/c) hair running straight towards a group of Zetsus and in a blink, the parasite clones fell to the ground. Kakashi shifts his body to look across the battlefield where he saw the triumphant look on your face, along with it, a barrage of emotions that he could not comprehend.
00:00:00:00:01:00
He immediately sprinted through the masses, was blocked but easily brought them down without having to use any jutsu.
00:00:00:00:00:30
He finally spots you. You, with the warmth of midday, gently enamoring something in him. You felt his gaze on you so you shifted your body.
He spots the parasite clone behind you.
And your eyes met his.
