Thought I'd post this thing I did for my sister, just something I whipped up in about an hour, it's definitely not of a quality or complexity that I'd be proud of it, I just wanted to show that I haven't abandoned this blog. Plus, I've been musing on the idea of Doctors with the themes of different incarnations.

Kinda proud of smashing this one out in less than 12 hours XD I've been meaning to do a Rebecca Sugar song edit for a while and while I do have one draft of Ed/Stede set to Monster, this Adventure Time song really doesn't leave you ever. That combined with the sea themes in the second verse really pushed it to the front of my mind.

Aside from that, I'm loving Ed's journey over season 2 of Our Flag Means Death, he's up and down and all over the place and it's so entertaining to watch but also if I think too deep on his actions, I get very emotional. So in lieu of making a rambly text post on my feelings, I'm sticking to a medium that I think I'm getting pretty good at: editing. This video acts as both a fan edit and a bit of an analysis so I hope you enjoy it :)

Taryon Darrington is to high fantasy adventures what Stede Bonnet is to pirates: he's a rich kid leaving his comfortable life for a highly dangerous profession based on a romanticised ideal and practically hiring people to be friends with him, followed by his scribe, he wears the flashiest outfit possible, walks around talking about himself and the first time he experiences true danger on his travels, he breaks down ugly crying. Oh, and have I mentioned he's gay?
