PlayStation Bad
In just the past two months, Sony has:
Said the PS6 will be more than $1000 at launch
Announced the end of all physical PS game releases
While simultaneously announcing the end of two of their console game stores — ensuring multiple games will die forever
Declared that they are wholly dedicated to (A) leveraging A.I. when making games and (B) creating live-service games above all other game types
Announced that if you bought any movies through their PlayStation Store, over 550 of them will soon be deleted from all users' libraries — with no restitution offered of any kind
Gamers, it is time — to paraphrase Robert Vann — to turn Sony's picture to the wall. Any one of these insults would be bad, and taken alone? Maybe it could be swallowed. But this is an ongoing campaign of disdain towards customers, with each declaration worse than the last.
PlayStation does not deserve your patronage any longer. The PS6 must fail. Leave them behind.
Do you guys remember the original Xbox One announcement? Where all games would only have one installation before the disc became useless, the console had to be always online to function, and would be constantly listening to the room around it?
Remember how it got clowned on so badly that the person in charge resigned on disgrace and they did a full 180 on everything they had committed to?
Those were good times.
Rant incoming:
Being a creative kinda sucks sometimes, especially a musician or game dev. It always feels like
People that are better than you look down on you and brush you off for not being on their level, even as you actively try to better yourself
People that are worse than you do stupid petty shit out of jealousy
Your peers just want to control you, or otherwise make themselves deliberately difficult to collaborate with
Non-creatives often just want to tell you how they think you should be doing your craft without understanding how any of it works
Choosing not to create activates the nagging voice in the back of your head that screams at you if you're not making anything, and never goes away until you make something or die
Sometimes it feels like there really is just no winning. Hopefully that's not all the time, I would like to finish my projects and feel good about it
Just posted another furry interview video, this time at a zoo/rollercoaster park called Wildlife World Zoo.

Thoughts on the new Rayman Legends remake announcement
Rayman Legends does NOT need a remake:
It's the most recent mainline game in the series
it's already available on all modern platforms, they should have remade Rayman 2 or 3
I think most of us want a 3D platformer Rayman, not another 2D game
I want an actually new Rayman game already, I'm tired of remakes x.x From the gameplay footage that's coming out, the levels still have the same layout
They still have the Wii U gamepad Murphy mechanic that was only ever included in other platforms because they had already designed the game around the gamepad, and it's easier to port it over rather than redesign the levels. Now its inclusion is two console generations removed from the Wii U, and they're doing a remake so it would be the perfect time to just redesign the levels... but nah, remake that part too. Why not?
Positive thoughts:
i like the new art style, and hope this remake was just a cost effective excuse to make assets for a new game
i like the voice acting, feels like they're going back to the Rayman 3 vibe
the shooting sections looked like they were in 3D, I hope there's more of that
the 2D sections looked like the environment does more than just scroll side to side, I hope there's some kind of 2.5D elements like Kirby 64 or the Rayman 2 prototype. But I'm not hopeful it's anything more than aesthetic
The Fauna Forte show at LVFC is now up on YouTube! I created a new channel just for the band:
Calling all animal friends and music lovers!
Join our band Fauna Forte for LVFC next weekend, Friday @ 2pm
Some pics of our band Fauna Forte at our very first gig at Endgame.
Big thanks to our stage crew for helping us lug and set up equipment!
Also shout out to @invaderfuzzytalon for creating the masks we wore on stage!
New video just dropped, I spent WAY too long on this one x.x
But it led to us starting our band, Fauna Forte!
I'm in love with this frame from a video I've been working on <3
Our band Fauna Forte is playing our first gig at the Endgame mini fur-con tomorrow!
I’ve been playing rayman legends again so I had to draw my girl
Drew myself a couple badges for LVFC back in April. The second one I doodled in 10 minutes at the con in the art panel
i love those blinking red lights they put on top of radio towers and windmills and skyscrapers etc, theyre like electronic flowers or something to me
kind eyes of angels
Remote and alien intelligences. Lonely. Observe everything, judge nothing. Understood me as a child. Passed awareness of me from tower to tower all the way home during nighttime drives.
I remember seeing tons of these lights grouped together in the distance when I was little. They were only visible from way out in the desert, and I couldn't tell what they were the first couple times I saw them. The first time I had just seen the movie War of the Worlds, so they scared the fuck out of me! I thought they were aliens destroying human civilization, and that I was witnessing the explosions and fires of death that was coming for me next.
When I saw them again after surviving the alien apocalypse, I thought they were pretty. But they always made me feel a little nervous after that...
unpopular opinion i wish fandom spaces were less shipping focused
I'll preface this by saying everyone should like what they like. But I didn't really know what shipping was until I started using Tumblr a couple years ago. And I gotta say, it's an obsession I still don't get, and it makes me feel kinda left out.
Call me crazy, but when I play Off or Rayman or any other media that doesn't really canonically ship anyone, shipping is the last thing on my mind. Feels like sometimes people that do obsess over it miss the trees for the forest.
