Dating is not for high schoolers. When you date someone you should date them because you love them and because you want to share the rest of your life with them. You should date them because you want to marry them. Often when high schoolers date, they only date because they think the person is hot and they want to have sex. Dating is not about sex!! Sex shouldnât be in dating anyway!! Once the fellow couple starts dating and theyâve had sex for the upteenth time, they start to become bored with each other, then comes the arguing and then there you go. They brake up because they now want somebody else. Also, when youâre dating and you get into an argument, donât break up. You will argue. After all, y'all are human and sometimes humans disagree with each other. (Now that doesnât mean you should be arguing every day because sometimes you will have to compromise) Anyway, when you argue, you work it out, you apologize and you go on with your day!! But do not let the day end and youâre still mad with each other. Youâre just carrying a day old problem into a new day!! Ephesians 4:26 âin your anger, do not sin & donât let the sun go down while youâre still angryâ. It is always good to solve problems THE DAY they are created! Please!! And this doesnât only go for dating, but in everything. Also when you date, you have to set aside your wandering eyes. Once youâre in a relationship you shouldnât still be checking some other guy out or checking some other girl out. That time is over with. The list can go on about why high schoolers shouldnât date. Long story short, we are just not mature enough. Weâre still trying to figure out who we are and what we want in life. So donât worry about getting a boyfriend/girlfriend! Focus on whatâs important in life!!
