basically alikuaruso on x redrew pure vanilla as nikki from obsession, and if you have watched that movie nikki was sexually assaulted repeatedly, emotionally abused, had all her freedom taken away, and completely lost her autonomy while she was LITERALLY under control. it's disgusting and the house is mad, again and rightfully so.

it doesn't help at all that they literally tagged shadowvanilla, because i can assure you shadowvanilla is NOT about that whatsoever. it seems like to me and MANY others that alikuaruso watched the movie with their eyes closed and just said "wow this movie about rape, stalking and emotional abuse literally protrays shadowvanilla so well!"

the movie is NOT for people to go "omg this would fit my otp so well nyaaa!!" .there are SO many other unproblematic things to portray your ship as. but they decided to go out of their way and draw that. so

Dont ever feel bad for getting insporation from artists Butterteg made a side profile tutorial and got mad when you used it, which makes no sense, love your art

i had to look at this for a few seconds then FINALLY remembered bc this happened a few months ago 😭

also anon i made an extremely ignorant mistake on my part and forgot to credit Chufflie for the side profile tutorial in the first place. i'm taking full responsibility for my own stupid screw up and the entire situation . i only realized what i did when chufflie themselves made a post about it, you can see it on x.

and chufflie didn't do anything wrong or get mad at all. they just set a simple boundary because of what happened.
