When trying to live faithfully that’s when persecution comes. You’ll be insulted, teased, judged, criticized, and hated by people and friends around you. You’ll be tempted and suffer as Satan comes harder for those who have a deep relationship with God. And this is where being Christ-like figure comes into play.
Instead of fighting and revenging back to those people and friends who judged, criticized. and hated you. Trusting God, give all of that to Him, let Him judge them because He is the ultimate judger, not you! And bless them!
Instead of fighting and taking revenge, keep your tongue from evil and deeply just love them because we have no excuse either. We are all sinners in God’s eyes and he deeply loves us although we do what he displeases. So live to the fullest as you continue to go through hard times so then when end time comes, you’ll be even happier!
“When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:23-24)
“Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.” (1 Peter 3:9)
“But rejoice in as much as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.” (1 Peter 4:13)
