Alexa, play "Far Away" by Nickelback while I think about Clex and cry.
Martha: Sometimes people shake their injured hand when they touch a hot pot like this kettel and yelp out “ouch!” Clark: Like this? ouch! Maratha: Well both hands might be overdoing it I like thinking about how Mama Kent had to teach Clark how to pretend to feel pain with nightly acting lessons.
I'm trying to prove a point to my brain: Reblog if you think fanfiction does not need sex to be good.
There is a trend I’ve noticed that smut fics tend to be much more popular than anything else and honestly I just want to have something to look at to remind myself and that writing doesn’t have to have sex to be worth putting out into the community.
idek anymore man
There’s that post that’s like ‘everyone should get into a tiny niche fandom at least once’ fully agree, that was really fun -- but I would like to add that everyone should get into a fandom where their opinions run counter to major fanon because it really teaches you about sticking to your guns and trusting your interpretation of the text without having to rely on peer validation
because WHAT are people talking about sometimes
Joker to Batman: I love (hate) you because you make life fun and keep me on my toes! Lex Luthor to Superman: I hate (love) you because you make me question my beliefs and grow into a better man.
Despite what you may have heard Bruce Wayne is not, in fact, a furry.
He is, however, very opinionated.

It's magenta. The drink is magenta. Why is it magenta? Do I mind? Nope!

Kkkkkkkiiiiiii. Love it.
Trying to loosen up a bit, drew some bad dudes.
I feel dumb for not knowing that Brainiac's real name is Vril Dox haha. Or maybe that's not technically the original one so that's not really his name?
Do you think Lex Luthor's current arc(s) in Superman Comics and AC will have him become an official, long-term hero?
Yes, goodness yes! It's finally happened, Lex has changed!
Haha please, this all a con on the part of Lex and/or the writers.
i think joshua williamson’s intention is for it to be a genuine/long term change but i have a feeling that as soon as the creative control swaps to a new writer it’ll be scrapped and he’ll revert back to a villain, because historically that’s what tends to happen when he gets a redemption arc.
+1
It's pretty clear that's what happened in the previous main continuity, when he was a member of the Justice League for a surprisingly long time and then reverted back to omnicidal mania very quickly once they needed a villain. My big fear is that despite everything Joshua Williamson is setting up, Lex is just going to immediately go back to Generic Evil Rich Guy when a new author takes over, with his entire previous characterization reduced to, "Oh, uh, that was just an evil trick. Eeeeevil!"
But I do think the fact that two of his biggest arcs in the last decade have featured him trying sincerely to be a hero (and at least managing anti-hero) is a positive sign! Comics continuity fights changes to the status quo viciously, but this seems like good momentum for a permanent change.
Releasing as a special oversized anniversary issue, Batman/Superman: World's Finest #25 will tell a new lead-in story showing the first meeting between The Joker and Lex Luthor as the two supervillains join forces to cause trouble for Batman and Superman. (source)
the next arc in mark waid’s world’s finest is going to feature a lex+joker team up! this will mark the third book where waid has written luthor, after birthright and the unfinished last days of lex luthor book, but i don’t recall him writing the joker before (or if he has, he hasnt written much of him).
i’m interested to see waid’s take on the joker since he tends to pull more from silver/bronze age than modern comics. seems like specifically it’s going to be a retelling of the first luthor/joker team up (similar to waid’s retelling if the first superman/batman team up).
also ngl i’m just excited to see dan mora draw lex.
Wow, Lex looks really good here! And of course the rest of the artwork is phenomenal, too!
