Let’s play who symbolizes what. On one arm we got Bucky’s star, Sam’s falcon in his colors, Peggy’s compas is poking through near the bottom. There’s half of his family, two from the past, one helped refind his past.
Across those Michelangelo sculpted abs we got Steve’s roots with Brooklyn.
On the other arm we got his crazy ass family assigned by dear Nicky back 2012 (where I refuse to leave.)
On his hand we got Thor with thunder clouds, below that is Natasha’s literal black widow, below her is arrows in the eye for Hawkeye. (I’m assuming Brucie is higher up on the arm since we can’t see that sides upper arm.)
His knuckles give us his birthdate of 1918. We alsogot some recurring purple and yellow roses which I’m guessing here means family since the begining or family at first sight. Purple is usually meant for love at first sight and yellow is platonic friendships, or I’m reading too much into this.
Now to my favorite part, Steve’s tattoo for Tony, even having his initials. (Now this is what I see and I might be completely wrong but lets go!) First we got the tattoo sitting directly where the arc reactor sits and it’s a heart, wheather meaning Tony is Steve’s heart or how the arc reactor is often replaced for Tony’s. Lines coming from the background to make it look like the heart is shining, which leads me to believe its closer to the arc reactor. The heart is damaged with a knife, with metal. Possibly symbolic to the shrapnel in Tony’s chest, or the damage Steve himself has caused in the past. A row of thorns protecting the heart, somewhat like an armor (Iron man). Then we got tue robins, I believe, often associated with hope, and new beginnings. All linking back to Tony and since Steve apparently wants you to know, he has Tony’s initials right in the corner. (Too bad its kot by tue sexy nipple piercing, imagine the hoot that would haves been. )
