Since it's Art Fight Season l've decided to finally post my Main OCs and their story! I might post more on them and my other OCs with or without context so if you happen to be interested, feel free to stop by!
Anyways, my main story follows two main characters. The first and main POV character is a 14 year old orphan child by the name of Halo, who used to be from the world of Earth, though one day suddenly found a “rift” to another world by the name of Mana, a world of fantasy and magic. The secondary main character and secondary POV character is a 35 year old madman by the name of Rue Acheron, who resides in an abandoned library in the outskirts of a village by the name of Fyoug in the Kingdom of Vaile. This just so happens to be the same village Halo current resides in the Inn of. This is the reference image I made of him for Art Fight:
Now, Halo holds a deep love for books and stories, especially of that of the fantasy genre. In fact, it’s as if they’re all he cares for, as if he’s spent more time in them than he’s ever spent in his own life. Because of this, it’s clear he would be ecstatic at the idea of new world. In fact, he decides to stay in it, wanting to know more of the world, and soon wanting to become an adventurer in it as well. He’ll… need some help though.
And unfortunately that’s where the madman comes in. The man many of the village-folk wish to stay away from. The man many of the village-folk claim to be dangerous, though there hasn’t exactly been any recorded cases of such incidents. This man is rather reclusive, and spends most of his time rambling and meandering about in that old abandoned library. However, due to certain circumstances and unwanted interactions, Halo decides to find help in him, to have him as a guide as he navigates this new world.
How unfortunate this madman’s the only one who seems to understand the child’s situation, the only one who seems familiar with the idea of another world.
