From House Of X/Powers of X TBP: Chronological Order
Charles is either demi-aroace or grey-aroace :: Trauma has made it harder for him to develop relationships without putting a large amount of time and effort into getting to know the other person. But even without his trauma, I think he just prefers to know his potential partner before getting with them. In terms of attraction to gender — he's attracted to multiple genders, either bi or pan would work.
In my mind, Charles is a partial paraplegic :: He still mostly has control over his bowels and bladder, but he still has to be careful. Otherwise, he still has some sensation in his legs, which is what led to an increase in panic when he first came to and couldn't control his legs. Being able to feel them but not move them is highly confusing.
In hand with trauma, he has the tell tale symptoms of both PTSD and C-PTSD :: From his time at war and a childhood of trauma, Charles developed both, in tandem and separately. With his refusal to see a therapist, he's acted as his own therapist for most of his life (see Uncanny X-Men #309) so his symptoms haven't been fully resolved at all.
Due to being a highly skilled and powerful telepath, Charles has frequent headaches and migraines :: This is mostly a headcanon I have for all telepaths, but the brunt of their powers lies in their own brain, so their psionic abilities will hurt their heads. It doesn't really matter if it's from using or not using his powers, it will simply give him headaches.
Charles feels incredibly bad for not being there for his children, but he doesn't know how to fix his relationship with them :: Despite raising plenty of his X-Men like his own children, he doesn't know how to approach Legion/David properly and talk about their lives. He doesn't want to treat his son just like one of his students, but he doesn't know anything else and it leads him to feel like he can't fix his relationship with David.
He has a very large personal library :: Both filled with scientific papers and literature of all kinds. He takes great care of his books, every one he's read has already been annotated, filled with post-its and all sorts of other notes within them. The library itself is divided by what kind of book it is (scientific journal, poetry, novel, etc) and then by alphabetical order of the author.
Although Charles will say that it's hard to say what his favourite book is, he has one and it's hard for him to beat it :: Evangeline by Henry W. Longfellow is his favourite poem, and keeps it in his office desk's top drawer for easy access. He'll frequently re-read it and won't lend it easily.
