Superrr late to this LOL but I finally finished my redraw of the Shadow comic panel that was a trend a while back! You know I had to pair it with an MCR song from Danger Days because of the album’s 15th anniversary.

Rest assured that I have not died or left the fandom LOL just had a lot going on irl and I typically finish pieces very slowly. I have to say I’m extremely proud of this piece and it is probably my favorite thing that I’ve made. Thank you so much to my roommate @blanc-ci for helping me figure out the shading and giving me suggestions, you’re a real one 👑

I’m planning to sell this one as a poster print (with a few other pieces as well) at an upcoming con at the end of June as a trial for vending and am really excited to see how stuff moves. I’m also trying to get a few more pieces done before June in order to add those to my stock as well, so hopefully that means I will have more art to post shortly and not go another handful of months without posting ❤️‍🩹

I know Star Trek is its own thing with its own history and lore but I do love to think of it as this ever-evolving post-historic fiction.

Like imagine the characters reminiscing on the feats done by the Artemis II crew and comparing it to what they’ve accomplished in their future (as writers, our hopes for the future) or comparing things like “Artemis II was the first mission to have a dedicated "Science Officer" console in the main Flight Control Room… they hadn’t even found the space for them on board yet haha” etc etc
